Quality Finish
Product looks good when laid. However, not the easiest flooring I have laid. Part of the problem is the foam backing which tends to tear on the floorboards of an older type house and restricts the jointing of the board. I should imagine it is better on an absolutely flat and smooth base.
I highly recommend viewing some videos on Youtube which give helpful advice before attempting to lay the boards.
I did have some issues with one or two boards which seemed to have defects in manufacture.
A word of praise for COSTCO – the online ordering was quick and easy and the product was delivered by the due date with frequent texts to advise on the progress of the order.

A Real Disappointment
I had bought these product in different styles from thinkassemble.co.uk before and I was so happy with the product that I had recommended it to many friends and family but this time around it was a completely different story. More than half the dispatched boxes had faulty planks inside caused by a manufacturing issue. They have what looks like machinery scratches on them and what amazes me that they were not quality checked before dispatch. I was aiming to use them to laminate the ground floor level and the bedroom upstairs but now have to return half of the boxes as I could only salvage enough planks to cover the ground floor by opening all the boxes to get the better shaped ones out. I now have the extra burden of carrying a large number of boxes back to one of the stores near me in my own car.

Inconsistent Quality
The flooring looks nice overall and is reasonably priced, but quality control seems to be lacking. About 1 in 7 pieces had visible scratches—two variations had around a dozen scratches each, making them unsuitable for main areas. The rest were in good condition and look great. I’ll be using the damaged ones under wardrobes or possibly returning them.

Good boards but hard work.
Good quality boards. You do need a very flat surface on which to lay them. Ordinary floor boards will not be flat enough. You need to put thin ply on them. Cutting the boards to fit around radiator pipes, etc requires precision work.

Poor customer service!!!!
Ordered 40 pkts of this flooring and 2p were damaged (confirmed by warehouse Manager) spoke to 3 different customer service agent and still no help about getting it replaced!!! Wish I hadn’t bought this floor and dont trust the customer service agents. I’ve layed 20pkts and I’m now expected to buy another 20 at a higher price to complete the job absolutely disgusted and angry!!!!!

Great quality, much better than available elsewhere at this price. Fitter commented how good it was too!
Available in store a little cheaper but accept online price included delivery. Delivery was made on the day I requested and driver very helpful.
All in all a great purchase.

I love the colour and the quality of the product for the price. I wanted a scandinavian looking flooring and I think I have achieved that with the Oslo laminate flooring. I have used it over underfloor heating and it works well

The display picture and sample sent do not indicate the true nature of the product. The look when laid is distressed with numerous scores throughout which look like faults in my opinion.

Best laminate flooring
Excellent product. Did lots of reviews and this flooring stood out. Sold in USA for years. Easy to lay if you follow the instructions. Some diy skill required for trimming around doors etc. Best to remove skirting first; results in a very neat job. Can definitely recommend this laminate flooring.

Poor quality printing and low variation of pieces
Whilst well made, there were a relatively small number of print variations across the 15 packs I purchased. the stronger detailed pieces were poorly imaged and looked very fake. A number of pieces had printing issues – almost like ink marks – some even had what looked like scratch marks that were then crossed out with wiggly red pen… thankfully I purchased enough spares to make the installation work – but it took careful planning to install in such a way that the pattern didn’t obviously repeat… Would not buy again.
