Wood Dehumidifier
My old dehumidifier had starting leaning, so I started looking for a replacement. I found the woods dehumidifier on internet, however the best value for money on Black Friday offers was in thinkassemble.co.uk. It was delivered a week later. It works beautifully, I love the design and the humidity control. The water tank is easy to remove and empty. It dries clothes beautifully, removing all the moisture. I would recommend it unhesitatingly.

Amazing bit of kit!
Bought this for a cold room above internal garage as well as to dry washing. Amazing bit of kit. Not used the tumble dryer since! Even warms the room up due to removing the moisture from the air that was creating cold air. Can’t recommend enough. Yes it’s a little noisy, but I can live with that. You can sign up and get a 3 year warranty, you do have to change the filter annually to validate the 3 years though.

The unit is better than we imagined
We did not know too much about Dehumidifiers before we bought the Wood’s model 25L. We needed to find an alternative way to dry washing in the winter months. We do have a tumble dryer but it costs a lot of money to use.
This Dehumidifier has performed better than we could have wished for. It drys the washing naturally over say 4 hours, it is quiet and is cheap to run.
We have spoken highly about it to our friends and only wished we bought one years ago.

Efficient and well engineered. One minus point.
Incredibly efficient. It reduced the winter condensation in my conservatory overnight down to 50RH with over a litre of water in the container. When it is exceptionally cold I will just plug it in overnight.
I like the oscillating baffle and the way it switches off at 50Rh then just maintains the level.
Minus point – a great piece of Swedish engineering, why not fit a UK plug for our market intstead of a clumsey EU adaptor.

Never realised how much I needed one. FANTASTIC!
I found cracks appearing in my floors where where my clothes were being dried. The first day I ran this, within hours the tank had around 2 litres of water pulled out of the air.
It was unbelievable to see how much moisture was in the air of that room.

Woods dehumidifiers are excellent
We have had many top brand dehumidifiers over the years and this woods out performs them all, it is simple to use with clear graphic instructions. We are so happy with this we have purchased another for our daughter who has just had a baby and this dries the laundry in no time plus also drying her home has made it cosy warm, this is truly a world leading dehumidifier

Great unit, almost perfect
This works exactly as expected. You can set the humidity level and choose one of 2 fan speeds. The power consumption is low and the unit is capable of extracting substantial amount of water from the air. The extraction capacity is highly dependant on ambient temperature and moisture level and the 25l/day is not really a realistic figure. That said, most consumer units are exactly the same. Also keep in mind that there is no remote control option and my guess is that it’s because the unit is really supposed to be set to say 55% and whatever fan speed setting you like and then you leave it alone. If In our house, the unit turns on for a few mins every so often so we are hardly using any electricity and the humidity stays at a very stable level.
Laundry drying is ok but it can be better. It’s also highly dependant on the positioning of the rack and unit but that should be no surprise for you if you are familiar with dehumidifiers.

Powerful and fills tank super fast
Powerful! Does it’s job fast. Fills up in as little as 2 hours. Wish I’d bought this in the summer because the air blower is always on so there’s a cool breeze and wouldn’t have needed to use an additional noisy fan alongside. Love this machine. It’s stopped a damp and black mould problem in its tracks, instantly!!!

Amazing little machine
An essential for every house, not only does it remove the excess water in the air it dries your washing overnight. I’ve turned my spare room into a laundry room . My washing dries so quickly no need for a tumble drier. I no longer have any mold anywhere in the house which did appear on ceilings and walls in small patches. It also helps to clear condensation on the inside of my windows . I just can’t believe the Amount of water this machine collects daily . I loved it so much I bought another for my son who lives in an old sandstone flat and he has even had to turn down his heating as it has made such a difference.

The best of dehumidifiers
This is the second one purchased as we have damp in the dining room but was also carrying it up the stairs to use when drying clothes, as they are heavy it is now much more convenient to have two. The machine looks classy, is reliable and averages around 4 litres of water in 12 hours. For drying clothes it’s great and the airflow blowing from the top also gets the clothes dryer faster. There is a night setting to dim the display and a timer also. My mother purchased a competitor model and so did my mother in law, but they have both had issues with theirs. This is a Swedish brand and so reliable I have had no issues with it. Also very energy efflcient and does not seem to cost more than 10 pence a day which is a lot cheaper than using the tumble dryer.

Dehumidifier buyer –
A good buy
Very effective as a dehumidifier with lots of options. It works for drying laundry but it helps if the room temperature isn’t too low. In that scenario it will take a lot longer. It also has a very reasonable water capacity unlike lower cost items. I bought it on special offer but even then it was a little pricey. Having said that, so far I am very happy with the product.
