Brilliant greenhouse ……… and a good service from start to finish. Hats off to both thinkassemble.co.uk and Vitavia. I am glad that I decided to lay a concrete base in between ordering and the delivery……..well worth the effort.

Great finish
Expected it to take longer and be more difficult to build than it was. I had already prepared a brick base ( not necessary but my ground was uneven) so the frame build only took about a day and a half. I only needed a second pair of hands on a couple of occasions to hold things in position so a wife or small child on hand from time to time is just fine.
A FANTASTIC TIP. When fitting the rubber glazing seals unroll them into a bucket of warm very soapy water, leave the bucket on the ground under the frame, then feed the seals straight from the water and slip them onto the frame groove. Fit all the seals before you start glazing so they have had a chance to dry and do not pop off the grove so easily.

Tricky but worth it!!
This green house is so good looking, far better than the old aluminium one it has replaced. Took me and the “old fellow” a while to figure it all out. He is an engineer so used to following drawings but the instructions were pretty good. Could do with a bit more detail on the corner joining sections as it is not immediately obvious where it slots together. The trick with this assembly job is take it steady and read the instructions several times before getting stuck in. Overall very pleased with the outcome.

The greenhouse I have always wanted
I purchased this greenhouse last month and have finally completed assembling the parts. It took two weeks of my spare time and I am very pleased with the final result. This really is a first class greenhouse. My only advice would be. 1) Read the instructions and understand the assembly procedure before you start to assemble.
2)Do not start by unpacking all the component parts. Only unpack the identified
bundle of parts for the section you are about to build.

Just what I wanted!
Erected in similar fashion to other greenhouses with the similar fitting methods.
Structure completed last week even in the difficult weather conditions of the Scottish Highlands.
Punctually delivered in a well packaged manner by a very helpful driver who insisted in unpacking and placing all the individual boxes etc.
Overall, agood choice and experience.

Vitavia Greenhouse
Excellent service from Vitavia. I purchased this greenhouse just as Covid hit, therefore delivery was put on hold. Vitavia kept me informed and delivered as soon as they could. There delivery guy was excellent. We put the greenhouse together ourselves, the instructions on line are fairly easy to follow as long as you take your time. As for thinkassemble.co.uk, their Customer Service was lacking, not once were they in touch to explain the delay situation.

Great value greenhouse, very frustrating assembly
Tall, spacious feeling greenhouse which was great value (Be aware that the photo on the thinkassemble.co.uk website is incorrect, the 8ft 4″ x 10ft 6″ is 5 panels long and has a single vent in the middle on each side)
It took my husband, a plumber with all the tools and I, an engineer, 2 painstaking days to erect it.
There are no logical instructions giving step by step tasks to erect the greenhouse. You are given packing lists and line drawings of the structure, with some useless close up details of joints. It would be difficult to design poorer instructions and this contributed to our slow progress; trying to work out how to put it together, searching for tips on the internet, undoing elements we’d got wrong.
Come on Vitavia, you can design better instruction and post them on the internet to save printing costs.
In retrospect, the assembly charge seems reasonable.

Greenhouse
Great product, easy to erect but takes a bit of time. Instructions are poor and thus watch the video first. Especially important to read to the end of the instructions before fitting as numerous bolts need sliding along the vertical spars which is not evident in the step by step instructions. Ignore my advice and you will be constantly unbolting bits to add more bolts.

Good value package
I have just finished putting the greenhouse together, it’s a bit complicated but all the instructions are there, it just needs working out. Loads of extras with the greenhouse so no complaints, just stocking it up now. Most of it I done by myself in my spare time but got assistance with the roof glass just in case.

Bad instructions
Pleased with the greenhouse but the instructions were confusing. There were many instances where sections had to be deconstructed to put in a second section. Also many places where extra bolts had to be inserted in grooves so deconstruction had to take place again. Very frustrating.

Great Greenhouse, but buy the assembly service.
This greenhouse is strong, smart and represents good value but the assembly manual is very weak. Read it very carefully and use a highlighter pen and page markers. Better still buy the assembly service. The manual is unclear in places, badly needs updating. and came with some parts not illustrated in the manual. The most glaring example was sixteen 3 x 61cm black plastic profiles with a groove each side the same thickness as the glass. It eventually dawned on us that the couple of hundred stainless steel glass jointing clips provided and displayed in the manual where upper panels overlapped lower ones served no purpose as the 16 plastic strips were the updated method and the glass was assembled edge to edge, so all in the same plane and they consequently fit right back to the rubber edge seals. I am no novice to DIY with 40 plus years experience of replacing complete bathrooms and kitchens, and have built a triple garage and a large extension on my own. I still found the assembly a bit of a challenge!

very flimsy and instructions useless. looks ok when assembled but after using all glass clips glass still falls out with the slightest of windy weather. never did get automatic vents assembled/working. some parts missing. does have the internal space required for us.

A great piece of kit. We did self assembly so a good two days’ work as per instructions. Only thing is we were two panes of roof glass short so it’s worth checking all is there when taking delivery. Really pleased with the end product, and would buy again.

Vitavia green greenhouse
Excellent greenhouse very strong and sturdy. Well worth the money. Looks lovely being green. We paid for installation which was well worth the money. Had a guy called Steve who was very good friendly worked hard and was put together in four and half hours !

Nice greebhouse
Nice greenhouse at a very reasonable price. Be aware that the instruction manual is very poor with 3 part numbers labelled incorrectly and poor diagrams – photographic images would help greatly. 2 panes of glass were missing but this was soon put right.

Quality Product at a good price
Just finished building this, the instructions are fairly compact with a lot of information on each page covering multiple versions but if you don’ t rush, they are reasonable to follow. There was one part x2 that didnt seem to match the drawing but it ended in the same two numbers and I deduced the relevant code from the box inventory.
Vitavia have online videos as well which can help. Note that there are very good plastic inserts to join panes that replace the self bend aluminium clips. I only noticed this after glazing the front and back and had to redo. Looks good, very sturdy, high roof height and really pleased with it.

Great greenhouse. Looks great and well built. As is says on the web site it takes two days to build and I was on my own. Read the instructions carefully as some of the roofing struts do need a few bolts threading into the bars as i only allowed one bolt instead of two for the cross supports. It does take time but worth it in the end.

Looks Good and Well Built
Well built greenhouse despite rather a lot of fiddly bits – instructions proved challenging hopping between text and illustrations! I’d suggest the illustrations could flag where to look for the text explanation.However once I’d got the hang of it the process proved easy. My tip is to assemble in calm conditions and leave all the bolts relatively loose right up to installation of glass as I ended up tightening/ loosening bolts 3 times and they doo sheer off quite easily. Also take particular not when inserting sliding bolts for roof lights – mine ended up wrong side of the cross braces and more dismantling required.

Stylish Quality product
This is definately an excellent product. Looks superb and is extremely well engineered. Made a few mistakes during assembly due to not reading the instruction carefully but even a novice like me managed to build it over several hours. Nothing flimsy about the vitavia greenhouse, absolutely solid when finished. Extra height makes this feel much bigger inside. Included staging is a welcome bonus. Looking forward to the planting season!
