Used this to beef up the sound in a 2006 BMW Z4 E85. Existing head unit overheated on long drives, as it is positioned right below the vents. This amp has stopped the consequent volume drop, and makes good use of the standard speakers, which perform a lot better now. Great low cost boost to a convertible sound system. Easy to plug straight into the existing wiring harness, but you do have to make sure which connectors go where. I got it wrong 1st time and thought it didn’t work, but after following the wires through and firmly pushing connectors home it worked great. Instructions not great for this. I originally put it in the glovebox, but it got hot, so I have mounted it to the side of the passenger footwell to allow ventilation and be away from direct heater air blows.

Ive had this for a year. Initially its great and added a much needed boost to my audio paired with some EDGE coaxials in the front, and sub in the rear. All channels are boosted and had good, not great, sound quality. However, this is my second unit and now having same issues as I had before. The audio channels fail and seem to have issues where the speakers crackle, and it gets very quiet and distorted. Again, its the second unit ive had and same problem. Ive reached out for support from the company and will update how that goes. Such a shame as for the size and what I need it to do is perfect. Small form factor, can be connected to my sub, door speakers and mid range subs under seats and connect to my factory head unit.

Like a lot of people, my BMW F30 has the basic audio system. I couldn’t justify spending several hundred pounds on retrofitting the HK system so thought I would try something a little different.The Vibe amp is simple to fit(there’s a youtube video) but finding somewhere to locate it can be a challenge on the F30.I fitted mine under the existing head unit which just meant tucking the cables in out of the way.I went slightly further by adding HK front door speaker and tweeters and the same on the back doors.What a difference!This little amp can really drive the speakers. I listen to rock music and tweaking the settings a little really brings out the best.I bought the speakers on ebay so aonly paid around £300 for the lot. Add the price of the Vibe amp and I’ve now got a great system for less than the cost of a used HK amp on its own.Brilliant little bit of kit and I’d certainly recommend it

I have the terrible base sound system in my BMW F31, this magic box has beefed it up nicely for a fraction of the cost of doing a full upgrade. It’s pretty easy to connect up, but in my case I am going to have to locate it in the void by the glovebox as it doesn’t quite fit under the head unit in the dash (a job for tomorrow). At some point I’ll probably upgrade the standard speakers to something a bit better, but it’s amazing how good the original base system speakers actually are when hooked up to the extra bit of power this box provides. Came with all the right looms in the box, just read all the instructions (or watch the video) and off you go! I don’t usually write reviews but this product deserves one.* Edit – upgrading the speakers is well worthwhile, I’ve subsequently changed the original bmw ones to Match Up x4bmw-frt.2 coaxial set for bmw, straight swap, very easy job, and no need to buy a kit for separate tweeters.

Works great i am very happy with the results, i just cant find some people say you need to put gain to very low and your radio sound to 80% and then gain to max…couldnt find intrstuions…but other than that its great!
