Slow in loading apps
It is less than a month since I am using this product. While loading Netflix, Disney and Prime video, it is very slow in loading of apps and sometimes do not start the already watched/ongoing videos. Initially I though it could be a one off but it is a routine now. Called technical support of thinkassemble.co.uk who tried to help with troubleshooting and next step advised was TCL will contact me but no contact so far. My internet is 100% fibre optic with 500mbps speed so can’t blame network for this issue as the same apps run fine on other devices. I am convinced this TV is slow in loading apps.

TV Faulted within a month
The TV whilst working was great, but after three weeks I have developed a small vertical blue line across my tv and will need to return the item which is not great. Ran through all the checks with customer service to be told I can only get a refund not a replacement.

Amazing deal
TV is amazing with £100 off. Cheapest I could find anywhere.
Superb picture, much brighter than our Samsung 4k uhd that it’s replacing. Lighter as well, even though it’s 10″ bigger. Well packaged and delivered on the day we were told.
Sound isn’t amazing but none of these new tvs are. It’s now connected to my dolby atmos soundbar so its like being at the cinema!
Recommended now but obviously time will tell.

Everything about the purchase was perfect, I visited the store saw the TV I wanted and ordered online as it’s such a big item, the delivery was spot on and I was kept up to date, I would definitely recommend this way of ordering for large items.

TCL – a Good Value TV from The New Kids on The TV
This 65″ smart google TV was recommended to us as a best buy at thinkassemble.co.uk Liverpool, coming in at well under £500 – and it certainly doesn’t disappoint. The TV weighs 19kg and this old goat of 77 found it easy to wall-mount using a Perlesmith tv wall bracket at just over £20. With this, it sits 9cm proud from the wall and you can use the extension arms to make easy connections. We think it’s a good looking set and there are plenty of back sockets (4xHDMI including an ARC) to connect all your units. (See pic.) There’s a simple “click-as-opposed-to-wipe” control which is easy to use. It’d be improved by adding a TV Guide key. (In all fairness, I’m fairly new to the TV and might not have found it yet!) The 4k picture is good and the Home Screen gives immediate access to plenty of apps. (See photos). It’s wifi and ethernet ready. You can connect your iPhone easily and there’s a TCL phone app. which you can use as an alternative remote. With a reasonable price tag, excellent picture, good selection of connection ports, high specifications and plenty of simple apps we’re well happy with our purchase. Obviously at this early stage I can’t comment on reliability – but with the excellent after-sales guarantee from the provider, that shouldn’t be a problem.

Was a big upgrade from my LG. The Google TV interface is fast and nicely designed. Picture quality is excellent but not up to OLED a you would expect. Very happy 🙂
