Neat inexpensive solution to get a couple of low power USB ports without losing a power socket. Works well, doesn’t interfere with access to other socket in a twin.

This little thing is exactly what I was looking for. I have only one 3-pin mains port on my extension lead free, so, I’d had to keep swapping my micro USB and USB-C cables in my mains adaptor, at the same time as not having that port free for any other mains plug. Now, with this adaptor, I have a 3-pin mains plug port free, and two USB ports, one for each cable. Since plugging it in, I have been periodically checking for heat emission, from the adaptor itself, and the USB plugs – frequently finding only minimal, to-be-expected heat, or, none at all. So far, so good.It was delivered promptly in an thinkassemble.co.uk brown paper bag, surviving its journey with no impact damage. Its fit is snug and neat, in its intact, nicely-presented, branded retail box measuring (h) 8 x (w) 6.7 x (d) 5.5 cm – I’d measure the adaptor, but, I’m really not up for the faff of unplugging it now – I’m pretty sure that the dimensions can be found in the listing! It has (relative to others of this type) a low profile, meaning that, most other 3-pin mains plugs, will and do fit neatly, next to/ each side of it, on my four-gang extension lead. I’m very appreciative of the red power indicator light, as it nicely illuminates the dark area where it’s situated. It weighs next to nothing, very light in the hand, yet, it feels sturdy. The USB ports receive the plugs well; the left port is a bit looser, with a wee bit of wiggle front-to-back; the right port is tighter. It takes a good bit of force to secure a 3-pin mains plug in its own port – just keep it all level/ well-aligned and steady, using even pressure as you go. I cannot yet speak for the speed of charging using the USB ports, as my ‘phone and other devices, are all currently full enough, so, when I have a better idea of that, I will try to remember to update this review. Certainly, if it develops a fault, or, otherwise fails me, I will be sure, to immediately update this review. Overall, thus far, especially for the price, at just over a fiver, I’m pleased with my purchase – I would definitely buy this again.

Nice little plug through adapter only 2 usb sockets which is a shame but still great, mines not getting warm at all, looks like good quality

Seems to work well. I bought some Blink cameras during Prime Day event with a couple of Sync Modules so I could create different zones around my flat and didn’t want to lose 2 sockets for the USB power. This plug seems to be able to provide enough power to both Sync modules and I still have all my sockets. No complaints
