Would Recommend, Good Back Support
Comfortable mattress topper.
Yeah, it smells all latex-ey at first but that passes.
It’s nice to have the memory foam effectively fill in the gaps that you naturally have when laying down. For instance when I lie on my back, the bottom of it arches as it reaches my posterior. Normally there is a gap there. This topper fills the void and supports my lower back.
I don’t have any back problems. I didn’t before I had this topper, but it’s nice to have that comforting feeling and not having to bend your knees for the lower back to make contact with the bed.
I rate this topper.
Now I’m considering a memory foam mattress.

Poor Standard
When it arrived it looked like it had been re wrapped, upon un ravelling the foam was clearly used before as it was stained different colours by sunlight. Left it a full 48 hours but the edges never regained a true form and always remained rolled over and thinner at one end. The cover is cheap and pointless but if you put it under a fitted sheet it`s not a problem really, personally even at this cheap price i would go elsewhere. In the end i cut it up and used some for a new bed for the cat and a cushion for my office chair, both would have cost the same so that`s the only reason it got 2 stars otherwise it would have been 1.

Great value Mattress topper
I purchased this for a bed that I am using in a rented property. I didnt want to spend a lot of money as its only for use whilst I am working away from home for a while. Having purchased more expensive ones in the past for my own house, I was very impressed with the level of comfort offered. It does make me a little on the warm side, but as it’s winter time I am not complaining. I would definately recommend this to other buyers looking for deep topper that offers a high level of comfort.

Different designs of toppers – one was rubbish!
Whilst they were on offer, I ordered two toppers, which arrived together.
The first topper had straps on each corner to secure it to the mattress. It is extremely comfortable and I was really pleased with the purchase. I would give it 5*
However, the second topper had no straps whatsoever and, with the slightest wriggle, slid off the mattress.
I contacted thinkassemble.co.uk customer services, hoping this would be a relatively straightforward issue to resolve. I kindly requested an exchange for the 2nd topper, for one with straps, as it wasn’t fit for purpose. It transpired the supplier is changing the design of the toppers from the strapless design to ones with straps – presumably, because the strapless design is inferior. It stands to reason, there would be a topper with straps available to send to me, however, after A LOT of hassle, my request for an exchange was declined.
thinkassemble.co.uk tried to blame the supplier but obviously my contract of sale is with thinkassemble.co.uk.
For a Company who prides itself on excellent customer service, I felt very let down.

Silentnight memory foammattress topper
Had several people stay on our pull out bed settee. First people to use the settee said it was comfortable but next night put the topper on as it had arrived and they said it was the best and most comfortable mattress they had slept on
The topper has to have several hours to reinflate when removed from the packing it arrives in but I have no negative comments to make – all who have slept on the matress were very impressed and rated it highly,

Tried the Silentnight 5cm topper out at my Daughters and decided upgrade to 7cm at home. Very pleased with this topper that can also (according to manufacturer) be used with an electric under blanket. Best of all – Made in UK!

Impress memory topper not so impressive
Makes a firm mattress comfy but quality not what I expected. The cover was plucked and every day gets more plucked though can’t see how. At this rate it will soon be in holes. The foam itself has ridges which thankfully are not uncomfortable and several little “scoops” out of the surface. They are not indentations. It smells awful, takes a good 48 hours to clear. Sadly because of the mess they made delivering the accompanying mattress I didn’t have that luxury and couldn’t return either. Moral of the story, plan well ahead or have an alternative bed

Excellent value for an excellent product
This was the deepest mattress topper I could find under £100 and it is excellent although there is a smell of chemicals when you open it, it disappears after a few days if you ventilate the room well.

Great topper
Great topper. Was going to spend £1000 on a new mattress but thought I’d try a topper first for £100 in their offers. Definitely made the right choice. Topper is medium firmness which is perfect. When I opened the topper I noticed there was a mark on it. I contacted thinkassemble.co.uk and they were happy to exchange it. As the topper had already been opened and expanded it was too much hassle to send it back. Decided to keep it and just wash the removeable cover instead. Not ideal but much less hassle than returning.

I didn’t give max 5 star rating as this topper could be improved. The 7cm thickness is fine if you have a firm mattress (luckily I do) to appreciate the memory foam effect. My gripe is the cover.. it should really be a zipped so you can turn topper over. Apart from that happy sleeps!!
