Already have two of these beds and got this one plus the mattress in the sale! Great storage with two compartments for bedding, towels ski wear etc. It can be a bit tricky to pull up and down and does require a bit of strength. The mattress is very deep and needs deep fitted sheets but the other two we have are not has high so maybe they flatten down a bit with use. All in all, a great bed!

Delivered on time with good care. The bed is tall. Very comfortable and the under bed storage is considerable and very welcome. The mattress and bed is top quality and we are very happy with it. Note you are going to need deep fitted sheets for this mattress.

The mattress is very comfortable and the bed is well made apart from one drawback which stopped me giving 5 stars. The initial lift required to open the bed is more than expected. The gas struts give very little help for the first 20 centimetres.

Silentnight geotechnical bed
The bed is excellent quality but a lot higher than I thought but well worth the money. It does how ever have a very strong smell of the gel about it even after 2 weeks of leaving it aired. The most important issue I have is that I paid for assembly and the guys just put the mattress on top of the base and I didn’t realise until they gone that they hadn’t screwed it together so now I have to wait until the parts come to get someone back. Two weeks later and I’m still waiting

So comfy
Bought this to replace a 8 year old gel Rex and it hasn’t disappointed. I got the firm mattress and first couple of days thought I’d made a mistake but it had softened up nicely and the bed is so comfortable. The ottoman is also great I can use the full base for storage snd it feels solid and well made Very happy with my purchase . My only gripe is for some reason you can’t buy a single ottoman base much to my sons distain!

Silent nightultraflex 3000 mattress
Very happy with the bed but had a problem with the mattress. The mattress had a chemical odour which took over a week to go. I even contacted silentnight to see ways of getting rid of the smell. It appears that I’m not the only one to have had this problem. I think silentnight need to address the mattress odour problem.

Excellent bed and base lovely and comfortable the gel topper on the mattress makes it feel so comfortable and moulds to your body I would just say it’s quite high I would highly recommend it the storage under the bed is brilliant loads of storage definitely glad we bought it

This is our second purchase of the Ottoman bed and Silentnight Gel mattress. We have had a wonderful sleeping experience. One has to get used to the bed being higher off the ground than most. Ottoman base lifts easily
