Great wash quality.
Despite only being an 8kg drum, this washer/dryer holds more than expected (I came from a 10kg Hoover axi). The wash quality is so much better than my previous machine and the ecobubble does really work despite my scepticism that is was just jargon.
This model is really quiet, even on the top spin speed and the overall stability is excellent. The cycle selection has pretty much everything you need. I cannot comment on the dryer function, as I just purchased it to replace a 7 year old washer (that was still fully functional) and I am glad I did, as it is a considerably better performance to my previous model. It was also a lot less expensive from thinkassemble.co.uk than anywhere else. Totally recommended.

No complaints so far!
This washer-dryer replaced another (dif brand) that was a lemon from the beginning and required many service visits while under warranty and the replacement of parts by us thereafter. We are very pleased with how well the Samsung cleans, how quiet it is when running, and how simple it is to operate. So far, we are very, very happy with it but we haven’t yet reached our first 40 loads (which the unit will indicate means we need to do a self-cleaning cycle–cannot wait for that). The added warranty was a huge bonus–five years total for parts and labour. Good price, too, and delivery by thinkassemble.co.uk in about a week.

Good overall washer dryer
Good machine offering good size drum within a standard overall dimension.
Doesn’t seem to take up much energy and having a short 25min drying option is good as well.
Where it loses marks is in the design of the tray that takes washer powder/detergent etc. basically the middle section which is used for fabric conditioner doesn’t really allow for everything to be flushed through into the drum.. and so there can be residue liquid in that middle compartment. As a result, avoid using thick fabric conditioner (e.g. Kirkland premium) as this just builds up in the compartment and can spill over.

A Thoroughly Modern Piece of Household Equipment.
This machine has some, to me, novel features..it chimes when it finishes a programme and then ‘clunk’..the door is ready to open..no more pacing about for two minutes waiting for it which used to infuriate me. But this is relatively minor.
Features I like are the ‘mixed load’ programme…set to run over an hour the machine balances and assesses the load, and then adjusts the run time, sometimes down to 56 minutes.
I use the dryer function mainly for towels, but this can be run from 30 minutes to several hours.
I love the controls that allow me to set more/less than two rinses, different spin speeds for most programmes and I can set the timer to start the washing when I want.
Certainly less creasing than I have experienced with other machines and wash quality is excellent.
This Samsung washer / dryer is a thoroughly modern piece of household equipment at a relatively inexpensive price.

Definitely worth your money!!
The washing machine is everything you want and more. It’s big for all the kids clothes, bedding, towels (not all at once mind). The settings are really easy to use and gives good timings on them all. Adding drying on top is great, it’s definitely something that we’ve benefited from.
Not to users though, it does create a lot of condensation (obviously) so make sure you have good ventilation or a dehumidifier handy.
The only one downside, the delivery was a joke.
The guys couldn’t wait to get out of the property, didn’t attached the piping correctly which resulted in a leak, and when I called them back they told me it’s my fault. They were extremely eager to get me to sign for the delivery so they could leave. Very very disappointing service there.
But the series 5 is a must buy and a great price too!!
