Very squeaky mattress
I bought the mattress three weeks ago. I was very excited as it had a really good description. I was aware that the mattress is very heavy as it has lots of springs, however I didn’t expect to by noisy. When you get down to lay or you rotate left and right the springs make a squeaky sounds. The same is when you get up. Of cours if you don’t move then the mattress is very comfortable. That’s why I have given the second star. I am going to call the company and see if I can get it exchanged.

From Tempur to Pocket Spring Bed Company
Heavy and thick mattress. Been on it 4 weeks now. It took me about 1.5 weeks to adjust. Me & my wife like it a lot so far.
However, it’s recommended the mattress is turned around & over initially weekly then much less frequently thereafter. Really not easy to do, but we follow the guidelines. 5 year warranty. We bought the cotton mattress protector and a double pack of king sheets from in store and both fantastic.
We had our Tempur for 16 years which was fab until about 14 yrs and my back started aching. It was however the the Tempur that cured my previous back ache.
I hope I get the same pleasure from this one. As others have said it is on the firm side.

Great nights sleep
Great mattress and now having lovely nights sleep on this. We previously had the same make mattress which has lasted us for 14 years without any problem at all. However, I would definitely point out to anyone thinking of buying this mattress that it is extremely heavy and being a mattress that needs turning over aswell as rotating you seriously need to think about whether you can manage this mattress or have someone to help you. Moving a mattress that weighs over 100kg’s on your own is unbelievably difficult.

It’s true a good mattress is important.
After 1 week we are already feeling the benefits. Husband has chronic back pain which has improved. He looks so much better. My quality of sleep also much improved. I’m truely amazed. Previous mattress was very poor. I did not think it mattered all that much. It does! You can feel this mattress supporting you. It feels luxurious because it is so deep (21 inches) it is so comfortable and excellent quality. So glad I bought it. It is “medium” on the hardness scale.

A great mattress.
We have always had Pocket Spring mattresses (for over 40 years). Before buying this one I read the other reviews. A fair number said that the mattress was firmer than the medium claimed. I didn’t find this at all.
It is definitely medium, as have been all our other mattresses. I can only guess that these reviewers hadn’t had a pocket spring mattress before, as they do have a different feel to other types of mattress which I have experienced at hotels and other people’s houses.
This is a very well made and comfortable mattress. The only thing that I would warn against is that if you use fitted sheets, you might need to buy some with deeper sides as this mattress is over 12 inches thick.
It is great value, very comfortable and I can recommend it very highly!!!

Good quality
I got this two weeks ago when I it came it was hard my boyfriend will sleep on anything and he said it was so hard now two weeks down the line ok getting used to it it needs to settle in as the leaflet explains. I didn’t get the leaflet with with but thinkassemble.co.uk provided it to me.
It’s a good quality mattress for price with good support. Just be prepared for a few sleepless nights at first as your body gets used to it

Great quality
I have had this mattress about a month. Although it is described as medium I find it very firm. I suffer with a bad back and unfortunately this has done nothing to help it. That said, it is a good quality mattress. I went from a Tempur, which I had a couple new ones over 20 years, and I find traditional mattresses less heat retentive, which suits me better. I prefer pocket springs and traditional natural fillings. This appears to be a quality mattress at a reasonable price. If it wasn’t for my back problem it would probably have got 5 stars.

Good quality Mattress, offered excellent support
Excellent mattress, firm but really comfortable, gives even support. Feels a little hard a first but after a few nights sleep, it feels great, I have arthritis in both hips and it has helped greatly, it hasn’t taken the pain away, but I no longer wake up during the night with pain.

Found it firm but very comfortable, multi springs means partner gets up during night without disturbing me! Downside is it’s very heavy to turnover, but even this is small price to pay for the comfort.

Quality Mattress at a fantastic price
I suffer from a bad back and stiff neck and struggle to get a comfortable night’s sleep. I have been in pursuit of a suitable mattress for the past few years. In that time I have been through 9 different ones! Finally I have found one that works for me!
It is not the most expensive, but it feels better quality than others I have paid more than double the price for.
It is reassuringly deep (beware), and reassuringly heavy (be very aware!). Fortunately the delivery guys did a great job in getting it up my one flight of stairs and even unpacked it for me.
As others have said, it is on the firm side of medium, but that suits me.
It is supportive and has a good quality comfort layer.
I follow the instructions and flip it regularly – each time it feels like a new mattress with a fully refreshed support layer.
My wife likes it even more than me…..she says its the best mattress she’s slept on, anywhere (and she’s slept on some good ones).
I can’t say that it will suit everyone, but if you like a firm, supportive feel and a quality build I can highly recommend this.
And if it doesn’t suit you thinkassemble.co.uk will replace or refund it – no quibbles!

Disappointed with this mattress for the price
First impression was not good as delivery was late, rushed and men unhelpful. Mattress has more pattern (which shows through the new sheets) and deeper tufting than I had expected from the photos. I feel it is more a soft than a medium, and I was hoping for a medium/ firm (as mentioned in some reviews). Two weeks in and it is ok and the springs are silent so far. (Noisy springs were also mentioned in some reviews). So not as happy as I had hoped.

Amazing value!
Superb value for good quality Matress. A little on the hard side, but maybe that’s because my old Matress was so old and saggy! Excellent no charge delivery and taking away of old Matress. Some places were charging nearly £80 for this.

Wonderful mattress
Sleeping in this bed is absolutely amazing, so comfortable, very heavy as other reviews state, hard to turn as instructions due to size (super king) and the weight but worth the struggle, beware of the ottoman base springing up when the mattress is removed! Delivery men wouldn’t bring upstairs saying that they would have to bend the mattress to get up the stairs which may damage it, we live in a regular 3 bed house so I don’t know how other people manage, we got help from family and friends and three men managed the lift without damaging themselves or the mattress, had the old bed taken away which was a great deal for £20, need extra deep fitted sheets, got these from thinkassemble.co.uk too, all in all despite the rocky start with the delivery we are absolutely thrilled with the mattress and recommend it 100%

Fantastic firm mattress
We purchased when the item was on sale. We read the reviews and picked this mattress as we wanted something firmer.
The pros are the delivery company (Panther) were fantastic start to finish. The mattress we’ve had for a few weeks now and we love it. It’s clearly very good quality and the pocket springs mean very little transfer of movement if one of you gets up during the night. I would say it is more medium to firm as opposed to medium but that is what we wanted.
The only con so far is the mattress is very heavy and only has handles on two sides. The instructions recommend flipping and rotating once a week initially which is very hard given how heavy the mattress is it. Otherwise we love it!
