Grear radio, sound better than expected, probably because Pioneer speakers was fitted before.Old radio was in the 70euro range but speakers I setup was Pioneer.When replace old radio to this one (Pioneer DMH-A340DAB), could not belive quality of the sound.Have 4 speakers and 1 SUB in my van, there option on the radio to connect another 4 speakers, which I definetly will do.

Bought as a double DIN unit for my Dodge ram. Custom wiring was required – Plugged in and all worked ok.I did not use the supplied cage, but had to buy the RAM specific mounting kit.The USB car play was a bear to set up. Eventually got that running after having to update the firmware on the head unit.Sound quality is great on built in amp (head unit) on decent speakers. DAB quality is patchy, despite buying the expensive pioneer DAB antenna and affixing it correctly. But is acceptable on long journeys. DAB was a little fiddly to find the setting to autotune.Overall the unit is excellent, Bypassing the “parking brake” signal to allow phone link was easy. Green to ground. Sound is good, Fast response, however the major flaw – After placing a phonecall the bluetooth bricks, If you were streaming music, It would stop and you would have to physically reset the unit by either powering off the unit or pressing the hard reset.I would also expect the unit of this price and quality to at least pick up time and date from the FM/DAB and not have to manually set it. Coming from cheap android units to this is a little bit of a change.I also find the unit a little dim on light days.I would recommend this unit, if you can live with the blutetooth flaw. Thats where it looses a star.

The radio was relatively easy to fit i did have to purchase a new wireing harness that made job easyer and had to change couple of wires around to make radio turn off with the ignition but no real problem everything works great

I chose a Pioneer as a recognised brand to replace my fully functional Kenwood 7200DAB receiver but I was so disappointed with this Pioneer unit. I wanted an upgrade to touchscreen etc.Where do I start….1) No FM/AM signal received at all. (Put my Kenwood radio back in and perfect signal).2) Weblink did not work whatsoever.3) DAB signal was hit and miss. (Again perfect with my original Kenwood unit).4) Nobody could here me on any telephone calls (worked well with the Kenwood).Whether I just had a faulty unit (which happens) I don’t know, but with so many faults I did not want to trust a replacement and have to go through the return route again.My Kenwood 7200DAB unit has now been reinstalled and the Pioneer unit Item returned and refund requested.

DAB radio reception is terrible and keeps cutting out. Could be down to the area I stay in though (South Ayrshire) . The display is very basic for a well known brand and the phone feature on the screen is quite tricky to use whilst driving, ie searching for a particular name in the phone book. Sound quality is good and Bluetooth seems to be working fine with both phone calls and music. Overall, I expected better from Pioneer if I’m being honest.

Wanted a decent sound system with digital display for satnav. Bought this along side wiring harness adapter and dab aerial, cut the correct size hole in the head unit with my dremel and could not be happier. Basically plug and play. Bluetooth phone connection, usb etc. Exactly what i needed.

Was looking for mainly DAB radio.This unit is very good quality for the money.One downer, weblink only works with iOS 14 or above. That’s the high-end of iPhone. All else works very well

Die Pioneer 1026881 DMH-A340DAB Soundanlage wurde in einen Seat Ibiza 6L Bj. 2007 verbaut, vier Mittellautsprecher und je dazugehörende Hochtöner waren bereits ab Werk verbaut, die werksseitig verbaute Antenne reichte gerade um FM (UKW) Empfang halbwegs zu gewährleisten.Um den Leistungsumfang zu nutzen, wurde zusätzlich eine Pioneer CA-an-DAB.001 DAB-Scheibenantenne verbaut, der Installationsaufwand erfordert u.a. das abziehen der Holmverkleidung, des Türgummis und der Verlegung hinter dem Armaturenbrett.Der Aufwand lohnt, da vorher sehr schlechter Empfang DAB+- seitig möglich war, ist nun der Empfang mit weit mehr als 80 Sendern, bei nahezu Vollausschlag auch an empfangsschwachen Standorten möglich.Bei der werksseitig verbauten Antenne wurde der Antennensteckfuß und das Gewinde mit WD40 gereinigt und zusätzlich das Innenleben mit Kontaktspray behandelt, FM (UKW) Empfang ist nun auch wesentlich verbessert.Das beiliegende Mikro für die Freisprecheinrichtung kann wie die DAB+ Antenne auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite optimal angebracht werden,Nun zu den Features:- DAB+ Empfang extrem gut, absolut sendertreu, die Senderanzeigen erfolgen schnell und flüssig, TOP- die Nutzung des USB Eingangs mit dem beiliegenden Verlängerungskabel erfolgt mit leichter Verzögerung (das einlesen dauert aufgrund der Beschaffenheit der verwendeten Hardware offensichtlich) , ist aber zu verkraften,- das Gerät spielt alle derzeit gebräuchlichen Formate (mp3, wav, Flac ist auch möglich usw.) anstandslos ab, TOP- die in der Leistungsbeschreibung angegebene “Ob DAB/DAB+-Digitalradio oder Audio- bzw. Video von USB-Geräten – alles lässt sich abspielen.” kann bei den Videoformaten nicht bestätigt werden,- bei Video Formaten MKV, mp4 usw, spielt er kurz an, mault aber dann mit einem Sicherheitshinweis,- das einbinden des Smartphones (Samsung, Poco) klappt reibungslos, die Freisprecheinrichtung funktioniert tadellos, TOP- die Gesamtleistung des Multiplayers sowie der Equalizer ermöglichen u.a. mit Bass Boost reichen aus um bestehenden Tinnitus zu steigern oder sofern man keinen hat, sich einen anzueignen, also Leistung satt, TOP- das spiegeln des Smartphones ist Kabelgebunden sauber möglich, TOP- das Touchdisplay reagiert auch bei tiefen Temperaturen wie gewünscht und lässt sich im Hellen oder Dunkeln gleichermaßen sauber ablesen, TOP- AUX ist zusätzlich möglich,- es stehen verschiedene Hintergründe zur Auswahl zur Verfügung,- ein Update/Firmware stand am 02.2023 noch nicht zur Verfügung, Pioneer hat allerdings zur Verbesserung eine angekündigt, man wird sehen,- eine Rückfahrkamera kann über die rückseitig vorhanden Chincheingange installiert werden, muss aber zusätzlich gekauft werden,- die kurze Bauart erleichtert den Einbau sehr, der beiliegende Abdeckrahmen passt sauber, der Einbaurahmen sitzt exakt, das Doppel-DIN-Format lässt sich sauber verbauen, TOP- die verwendeten Android Versionen 10/11 sind absolut kompatibel, TOP- das Display ist auch während der Fahrt ausreichend groß und sichtbar (übersichtliche Struktur) und zu bedienen, TOP- der Preis ist wie ich finde angemessen, eine echte Empfehlung, TOP !!!
