Great quality veranda
I had a builder friend erect this. It took him 3.5 hrs. It really needs two people to do it, especially screwing the long beam to the wall, and adjusting the supports. It comes well packed, but it is heavy! The delivery guys were good, and put it in the garage for me. Full marks there. The builder was very impressed with the quality. It should last for many years. The instructions are not wonderful, you need to study them and all the parts to get a mental image before you start. All the exposed nuts came with strong plastic covers to give a nice professional finish. And they supply some extras in case you lose some. An excellent product.

Palram Feria 3 Veranda Patio Cover in Grey, 3 x 6.
Read the instructions and then read them again. This identified that I needed a longer drill bit than I currently had. Familiarise yourself with all the parts supplied. After that it was relatively straight forward to build but you do need at least two people at certain times of the build. I used the joining kit (which linked the two 3.05 metre patio covers together) in the original build i.e. I built it as a 6.1 metre Patio cover.
I’m extremely happy with the finished product and would recommend this item. I likened this to building any DIY building project. It would be so much easier/quicker second time around………

Excellent Pergola
Excellent pergola. Sturdy and comfortably survived the recent storm. A lot of groundwork was required to reinforce the decking before building but once that was completed, it took around 5 hours to construct. Well worth the money.

Lovely bit of kit! But a word of caution………
Very happy with patio cover now that is erected. Substantial. Has already survived two extreme weather events.
I add these words of caution. I’m a experienced DIY’er. I had the help and guidance from my son who is an engineer. The build instructions are via ‘engineer diagrams’ with little written guidance. The online videos are instructive. But, overall, the patio build was onerous.
Good buy. Very happy. But, unless you know what you are doing, better book a builder to erect.

Looks good, easy to fit and great value
Not only has this cover provided a good looking bright all weather outdoor seating area, but my less hardy pot plants have a safe place to spend the winter and this has brought the garden closer to the house for the winter months. Easy to fit, I didn’t have the full height required, but it was easy enough to shorten the supporting legs by a few inches to maintain a suitable run off slope for the rain.

Simple to construct, solid and hard wearing!
The whole process was faultless. Contact was made a day after ordering when a delivery day was agreed for 3 days later. Updates where sent and you could live track the location, one of the best delivery experiences I’ve had in a long while, everything as described!
Putting the ring up was extremely simple, I only had a helping hand from my 10 year old son and the job was complete within 6 hours of opening the box! There are some fiddly bits, the split construction of the gutter and main beam is not ideal, but overall it went like a dream. The final product looks very high quality, solid and sturdy and will stand the test of time. Very good product at a great price from thinkassemble.co.uk..!

Excellent Quality – Complicated Instructions
Excellent quality, well built and a solid structure when built. Took two of us a full day to build, but that was because we got the wall plate and mixed up with the plate at the end of the roof. How a big down pour and there were no leaks. Instructions – Could Palram produce a video on say You Tube, showing how to errect it or number the parts on a picture of it completed within the written instructions?

Excellent value & construction patio cover….
I purchased this patio cover a few weeks ago but wish I had purchased it a few years ago!
I was a little dubious about making this purchase for 2 reasons 1, the price & 2, I live by the sea (gets very windy)
After receiving delivery & reading the instructions and proceeded to build it I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to assemble and how well designed it was, my wife gave me a hand with the assembly and we had it done in under 5 hours.
This patio cover is very well designed and due to its robust construction gives me confidence that it should cope well with the strong winds we frequently get here on the north wales coast, but only time will tell fingers crossed,
As for the price of this patio cover I am very pleased with it, the construction & the look is well worth it.
Palram customer services cannot be faulted, I had I part which was slightly damaged on arrival, I contacted palram direct and they had the replacement part sent out to me the very next day, first class service.
Thanks palram

Good looking patio cover
It was delivered in 1 full box and everything was there…. it took 1 competent diy 5 hours to install with occasional help from another. Everything fitted well and looks lovely.. guttering leaks slightly on the join as I had the 5m one and depending on the amount of rain sometimes the shallow guttering cant cope with that amount of water… it has now been through several storms and high winds and has coped very well… i am thinking of the side cover too just for more protection from the weather… for the cost of it and the ease of installation it is a nice product and does what i want it too…I was also concerned it may make house darker but it actually makes it brighter inside.

Love love this !!!
Absolutely love this. Was so easy to set up and install. Took 2 women 6 hours! We had a yellow weather warning for wind the day after 36KMPH winds and it didnt budge.
Only issue is had was connecting the down spout to a water butt so for those of you considering this I will save you some time. The size of the down spout is not a normal standard size. You will need FLOPLAST mini guttering 50mm which conveniently comes in anthracite and white a quick Google will help you.

Lovely Canopy (wish I’d bought the bigger one)
This is a great canopy and does exactly what it is supposed to do. As long as you follow the instructions to the letter and have two / three people it is within the ability of DIYers to assemble. One point I would highlight. When then frame is being attached to the wall it would be beneficial to have a third person to help. The frame due to the method of construct (not attached to the ground until end) is at one point highly unstable. I had a wobble while trying to pass my husband a part. The whole frame moved and one of the struts fell smashing the glass in our table. This was an expensive mistake on our part as it cost £200 to replace the glass.

A high quality patio cover or car port.
This is a high quality patio cover which we have installed as a car port.
It is really well constructed and easy to install as a two-person DIY project. The instructions are clearly presented but I suggest reading them all through first because we did a couple of bits in a different order. For example, why assemble the 5.4m gutter (from two sections) as an early step when you don’t need it until nearly the end; it just gets in the way.
You will see from the pictures that our roof is not transparent. We have already got a similar patio cover and found that the standard polycarbonate roof panels allow a lot of heat through so we have fitted SolarCool Window Film to the underside of roof panels before installing them. It does require very careful measuring because the film needs to tuck into the edges of the panels, but it is not difficult to do.
My final comment is one a very slight disappointment. The end fittings for the guttering are a non-standard size (c.43mm) so you can’t just fit a standard 40mm drainpipe. I’m using a 40mm downpipe, plastic welding compound and a couple of small screws through the plastic.
We would recommend this Patio Cover / Car Port cover. Hope this is helpful.

The easy to erect very well designed
I bought this to cover our outdoor terrace and provide a shelter from rain. Took me half a day to put up, but note that front columns a bit short, so I built concrete pedestals to raise the level by 150mm not sure about wind resistance as not had a storm yet! only time will tell..

Great buy!
We bought the Palram Feria from thinkassemble.co.uk (the cheapest place to purchase when we were looking – July 2016) and can honestly say that it’s the best £700 we’ve spent! The patio has been transformed into another room at a fraction of the cost of an extension.

Good product
Very happy with this product although the instructions could have been more user friendly

Easy Installation and Looks Great
We were not sure what to expect from the veranda, especially since it was a reasonable price, cheaper than any other verandas on the market.
Construction was very easy with clear instructions and all the parts needed including spares. Only thing you may want to add is a down pipe for the guttering.
Build time was about 6 hours with plenty of tea breaks. Very forgiving structure that allows you to move the post positions easily to desired location. Note that we are not experienced builders.
Solid construction, water proof and looks professional. Our neighbours have commented how good it looks and asked where they could get the same kit.
Looks like it was always meant to be part of our house and we are sure it has added far more value to our proterty than the cost of the veranda. Very happy!

Generally excellent, but some flaws
Overall I’ve been very pleased with this for the price. Delivery quicker than expected (under a week) by a helpful 2-man team that put the GIANT box down the side of the house for me. Construction took me two full days as an experienced DIY’er, but that included moving a drainpipe and laying concrete footings for the legs, which added a few hours. Mostly completed single-handed, but you definitely need two people to assemble the front frame on the larger sizes, as it needs someone to help raise it and hold it steady while you attach the top beams.
Looks great, feels sturdy, and doesn’t leak if assembled correctly. Gets lots of compliments from the neighbours. Looking forward to lounging under it in the summer.
Loses a star for the following reasons:
– One of the wall supports arrived quite badly crushed at one end. Thankfully I was able to hammer it straight and it was an end that was hidden by a plastic panel, so won’t be visible, but as this was clearly crushed at the factory (nothing else was damaged, including the packaging), that’s a black mark on Palram’s quality control
– Fixings are a bit of an odd mix – you get huge bolts to attach to the wall and ground, but the fixings for the roof beams are tiny by comparison. Hopefully they will stay firm
– Squaring it up has to be done manually, and if you don’t get it perfectly square, the roof panels won’t fit. A couple of cross-pieces to help with the process would have made it a lot simpler
– The gutter has spouts at both ends, and the design means it can’t be converted to a single-spout option, which would have been more useful
Some top tips for assembly:
– Take your time fitting the wall plates and making sure they are perfectly level. The rest of the construction fits around these, so getting it right makes everything else much easier
– If you get the top beams perfectly square first, roof panels can be slid into place rather than hammered in, which is *way* easier
– Don’t fully tighten any of the bolts on the front section until it’s fully assembled, as squaring it all up is much earier once the roof panels are in place

Very happy
Perfect addition to our new patio. Was quite scepital as it was several hundreds of pounds cheaper than anywhere else but it is a quality product, lovely colour and a solid construction that should last for years . It survived the recent storms !! Really impressed with the product and service. Delivered within 4 days and communication regarding delivery was second to none. Looks complicated to assemble but is actually straight forward. Took one man 3 hours with a little help when attaching to the wall.

Very well designed and looks great!
We’ve had the canopy for 6 months and it’s been great. Quite easy to build but unlike the notes I’d say 3 people 6 hours. Instructions are easy to follow and the build quality is superb so every nut fits in smoothly. We’ve had heavy rain, very high winds (70mph) , ice and snow, and it’s never moved at all. I’d highly recommend this to anyone. Some canapies twice this price don’t look as good.

Superb value
What a superb value for money this item is. Several quotes for the installation, unable to do it myself, all who quoted are amazed at the price. Installation took around 6 hours for two men, who I hasten to add had not installed a similar item before but did refer to the clear instructions on each move. Well impressed with the quality of the product although little disappointed with the end gutters/downpipe which seemed to have 48mm size where after many hours searching the only downpipes found was for 50mm fitting. Does spoil the overall appearance, hence 4 not five stars.
