If, like me, you’re fed up with unnecessarily long fan splitter cables, then these fits the bill nicely. They are well crimped, and the quality of the connectors and cable is very good. HOWEVER, the manufacturer has made a basic mistake. When you split a fan cable, whether it’s a three or four pin header, only ONE fan should be connected to the tacho pin on the board header. The motherboard (or whatever device has the fan header) can only read rpm from a single fan. Having it connected to multiple fans will, quite simply, screw it up. It is unlikely to blow up anything, but the tacho information being reported will not be correct, and subsequent erratic pwm control may manifest itself.You can simply snip off the tacho connection on one of the split headers to remedy this.Otherwise, a nice little product.
