I absolutely loved this phone when it arrived, the colour is perfect for what I needed, it has a nice ring to it, not quiet, not too loud, just like the original 60s and 70s phone I guess. You have to ring dial which is sweet and nostalgic. People on the other end sound quite clear. The holder is comfortable to hold, it was super easy to set up and above all it looks amazing in my room.

My mother does not understand why I bought this. She sees it as “old”. Well, me I do. It is definitely the best looking, most cool phone I ever had. Brings me back into “good times”. Price/quality is great, voice quality is great, I do not have one of these stupid harmful DECT crap phones, which is superb… and the ring, the bell is just bringing me back to the times when I was 12 years old. If you like old times, go for this!Pros:- Old fashioned phone that looks really classy on your table- No DECT, no radiation, no health issues- Decent, long wire – I think over 5 meters- Beautiful bell. Really a bell which brings you back 50 years in time. No stupid digital imitation but the real thing.- Picture in the middle can be changed to your picture or to classic fire, police etc. sticker- Price is nice. German company. Even packaging is nice and classy.- Redial option is really cool as well as the # and * signs. Could not do this with a real “old” phone. Cool idea!Cons:- At the beginning, sometimes when I dialed a number on the rotary, it made some noise turning back – but this seems to have gone now after using it a few months, so not really an issue- If you use pulse tone, I simply get a timeout with my Sky landline connection. Seems operations don’t even have time anymore to let you finish a call in peace. Solution: I use the tone option (just flip the switch on the bottom). This is not a issue with the item, more with modern times. Well, exactly this is the main reason I bought this phone. Remember better “Old Times” 😉

It sits on my whole table and looks really really well. I’ve got so many remarks about it. The only problem is, I need some of inlays for the front of the phone so I can write my number on it and make it look very realistic. Unfortunately, I could not find any in the box.

This phone was ordered by me for one of my wife’s Christmas presents as she wanted :)The phone arrived well packaged and swiftly so no issue at all. It was simple to fit to our telephone line.Would I recommend this phone? Well YES and NO.YES – To my wife the phone is fabulous in that it has that 1970’s vibe down to a tee, its very sturdy built (much heavier than modern landlines) and so doesn’t move about on the table when picking up the receiver. Its in a lovely shade of cream and looks superb on our ‘shabby chic’ telephone table (shabby chic is not my thing but my wife loves it so that’s that).NO – If you want a phone that does all the teccy stuff then its not for you. It doesn’t even have speed dialling and so on. Remember, its a 1970’s replica phone and phones then were far more basic in operation. So, in summary if you want a phone that does even the basic conveniences of ‘tech’ then leave it but if you’re more simple non-tech like me and my wife and want it for its period style then I highly recommend it.Cheers,Paul

Good quality heavy phone. If you’re looking for something like the old 70s phones that you remember from growing up then this is the one for you. It works fine so far no problems at all with it. A large part of giving it a 5 star rating was the customer service. When I got it initially I tried plugging it into the wall and into the ports I could see in the back of my router but nothing happened, I looked up a contact email for opus and messaged them that evening asking for help. They got back to me first thing the next morning and couldn’t have been more helpful. I’d missed a little sticker on the back of my router covering up a port that said “for digital voice customers only”. Once I’d plugged it into the right place it was fine! I felt like a bit of an idiot for not noticing it 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I’d be very confident buying from this company, good quality phone and you can be confident that if you have any problems they are very willing to help.

I recently got fibre with Virgin and wrote to the seller asking if this would be compatible, as I’d read there could be issues. The seller replied immediately and assure me there should be no problem.I received the phone and it’s tremendous, the weight makes it feel like the original, the ring sound in perfect and takes me back to when l was a small child with our house phone, I’ve so missed picking up a handset and dialling! There was actually an issue, Virgin couldn’t tell me re the phone as they didn’t sell them, so l called the seller who again assure me that the phone really should be ok but if it was the phone, l could send it back. I called Virgin again, it was their end and they sorted it. I’d be VERY reluctant to send this back!I wanted to remove myself from the emfs as much as possible, and I think in this fast instant world, we often forget to sit down and relax (I do anyway) but having the corded phone, l can’t be on the go constantly and have to sit down. It’s really lovely and somehow it’s easier to focus on the conversation because there’s no multitasking involved.I’d recommend this so highly, it’s a bit more expensive however, it’s really worth it and ld have very confidence in this seller should l have an issue!

GorgeousLove the colour we choose Red didn’t disappoint.Heavy plastic so worth the extra price to some cheaper models, we are unable to review a plugged in at the moment as it’s just a buitifull ornament till we move house, saying that I did plug it into my router & it works fine reason for ornament is router in bedroom fixed 2 wall & we want it in living room.

Klasse Telefon
