Spa man –
Some issues still under discussion with the seller
After three months very limited use we are generally pleased. However we’re now experiencing a few annoying issues that we are trying to resolve with the supplier.
1/ Speakers rattling. Now supplied with new cover caps but these allow water to get into the speakers causing damage to the cones and black residue forming.
2/ Headrests fitted slightly too high and wearing against the lid cover.
3/ One side panel damaged prior to delivery. Now replaced.
4/ One jet cover rusting and rust stains on the shell. Still to be replaced.
My main concern is that the tub is made in China and manufacturing quality may mean further issues. You get what you pay for.
To date the seller is extremely responsive and helpful but the headrests are only warranted for 90 days and the speakers are still under discussion as they are not waterproof and should be rated to IP67 or 68.
Again it’s a quality issue. The seller has offered to replace them if a faulty batch issue.
If the tub is filled up to the indicated level and more than three people are in the tub, the speakers are awash with water which is not at all ideal.
