The Plugin 4 Way Mains Adapter with Surge Protection is a very neat and cost effective solution to adding a few more sockets into my kitchen and garage.Whilst I try not to keep too many appliances on the counter, it is much more convenient to use this Plugin 4 way, than having to keep plugging and unplugging into the sparse few sockets in the kitchen.I have a slim sockets in the kitchen and the Plugin 4 fits snuggly with the main body of the adapter flush against the wall. A friend of mine has almost flush stainless steel sockets in his house, and the Plugin would not really work if your sockets are slimmer than 5 or 6mm (quarter inch in old money)Each socket is colour coded and has it’s own individual coloured switch. they all look red when on, but it is a nice touch, though it is pretty obvious which switch is for which socket. I don’t like to overload an individual wall socket, so would not use more than a couple of appliances at the same time and this Plugin 4 makes it very easy to see what is on.I have used a switched 3 way socket in the past which worked very well, but it did stick out much more and meant there were 3 cables in a very small space.The quality of the plastic and the build quality seem to be quite decent and for the price, it would seem to be very good value for money.

I bought this for my workshop and overall this is a very useful mains adaptor and the fact that you have different coloured switches for each socket is a plus. It would have been given 5 stars except for two reasons:1. The sockets are very tight but better than being too sloppy.2. The lights that show which socket is switched on all glow an orange colour and in my opinion a coloured L|ED would be better.Having said that it is very good value for money and I would buy another if necessary .

Item as described, I did have a 4 way multi socket previously but I had given it away as I didn’t need 4 sockets at the time frustratingly my new electric blanket turned out to be dual control which I hadn’t realised when I ordered it, so I needed the 4 way socket I’d given away, doh! I liked that this has surge protection & the individual switches which my old one didn’t have. I did have to push really hard to get a couple of plugs into the sockets but that was only a minor issue. It does what I wanted it for & up to now has been fine
