Perfect…. almost!
This is a fantastic machine. So clever, so quick, so consistent, almost perfect. The milk frother is pretty good however, I know, having had manual Gaggia machine before that it is just not able to get the milk to the right level of silkyness and body that I was used to. On the
other hand, this is a bean to cup, automated, programmable, user specifiable, consistent, self cleaning machine which cut down the process of making a coffee from 7-8 mins to 2! This is the future and at the discounted price I got it from at COSTCO I think those willing to buy at this price level will be delighted with it.

It’s good, but just takes a little time to get used to and it’s probably a little bit over complicated for someone who just what’s a simple coffee or cappuccino, but with a little persistence you will soon get the hang of it. it does make a hot cup of coffees which is so much better than other machines I’ve used and the milk frothing is very good. It’s actually easier to use the phone app then it is to make coffee via the control panel on the machine. Would I recommend the machine? Yes I would, providing you spend some time reading the instructions before you start!

Seems to work very well!
Had a Gaggia machine for 17 years and when it failed recently we found this machine and ordered it. It’s not particularly simple to operate until you get used to the Bluetooth facility, but it does make a great cup of coffee with many options. Could do with a larger bean hopper and the milk facility works well.

I bought this machine before Christmas and that was good choice. Before use capsule machine which they no meet quality as Melitta. You have choice of temp of coffee/water and very good choice of different types of coffee. Bluetooth could be works better but that is only little downside of this machine. All rest good quality easy to use and clean.I hope that will last for long.

Overall review
Excellent machine.
Great tasting coffee & easy to use.
Drip pan & coffee grind container require emptying frequently but this is an easy 30 second job.
The machine produces great thick & frothy milk.
The 2 bean hopper is handy for swapping between beans with much ease.
Initial temperature setting was low, this can be changed in the appliance settings tab on the app, perfect once at the highest temp.
Not as quiet as i thought it would be given comments from other reviews.

Great idea poorly implemented.
Unfortunately there are a number of issues with this coffee machine. It’s billed as a fully automatic coffee maker but the menu system on the machine itself is poor and difficult to get the recipe you want without wading through black & white text menu’s. The phone App menu is good, intuitive and easy to use but you need to repair the blutooth connection every time the machine is turned on. If you use the app and someone else wants a coffee from the machine you either have to do it for them or disconnect so they can connect and choose the coffee they want on their own phone.
The water tank is too small and can only issue 2-3 full size coffee cups before needing a refill. This is made worse because the machine does a self clean so often it uses even more water when doing this. The machine often stops and reports that the drip tray is full and needs emptying when there is next to nothing in it. I’ve had the machine for 3 weeks now and have to say I am somewhat disappointed in it.

Versatile and fast BTC
Makes reasonably warm (not lukewarm) but not hot coffee. The advantage in that is you can drink the coffee straight away but it will not address your need if like your coffee hot or piping hot. You can’t adjust the temperature much with the app either. The tray fills up very quickly so it needs emptying fewquently. If you want to adjust the coffee strength make sure you do that before you choose your coffee drink (the + and – symbol near the bean graphic/ icon). Apart from that it is a brilliant machine and at £499, you can’t deny it is good deal.

– BLUETOOTH is absolutely rubbish, have to keep reseting to connect, if it worked first time everytime, the T SMART would get 5 stars, very dissapointed with the bluetooth.

Great machine. Well made and clever positioning of drip tray. I only use it for the non milk drinks but it extracts well. So well that you may have to reduce the strength of the beans, but it’s far easier that way around. Nice cleaning functions too and a lot quieter than some other models. One negative is that it’s very long and whilst it fits on a standard kitchen unit, it need a lot of space when refilling with water. A minor point in the scheme of things

Great coffee machine
Excellent machine for the price. Lots of functions. Took a while to work out how to use it properly, but once I had it makes great coffee. It’s important to get beans that you like, I’ve tried 3 different ones and there’s a big difference in taste from one bean to another. So just try a few different ones if you’re not keen on the taste. The Bluetooth is rubbish like other comments, but it’s not something I’m particularly bothered about.

Great machine at a great price
What a brilliant machine. Although I was initially a little daunted by what I thought was going to take some time to get used to, it soon became apparent that the machine holds your hand and guides you through every step of every operation. It couldn’t be simpler and once set to your specific requirements it produces excellent, consistent coffee, time after time.

The two coffee bean hoppers mean we can have decaff and caff and also use ground coffee in the separate chute. The pre-set coffee menu excellent and the ability to programme personalised drinks. Can’t fault it

Perfect every time!
I’ve had this for a few weeks now and have used at least 4 times a day! I absolutely love it. So customisable, I’ve barely scratched the surface with what it can do. The App is a bit finicky at times but the machine is remarkable and well worth the extra money.
