This is truly a great gaming headset. As someone that’s used audiophile and studio grade headphones, this headset is very close in terms of sound quality for what you want in gaming. Picking out footsteps in a shooter is a breeze with these. The build quality feels great and is very comfortable to wear for many hours at a time. The mic is tuned perfectly for anyone on party chats or discord to hear you clearly. You can also hear them clearly too.It works for pretty much anything PS5, PC etc. and they even give you an external USB soundcard so you get a clear noise free signal instead of the motherboard’s built in audio.I cannot recommend this headset enough, they look, feel and sound great!

I bought this to replace a wireless Logitech G935 that was starting to disintigrate and wow what a difference. I went wired with this headset because I had lag and wireless interferance with the wireless headset. This HyperX has amazing sound quality – I’ve tested it with music, movies, games, and discord chat and I can’t believe the upgrade in sound quality I’ve gotten. Going wired over wireless so far has been a great call- I don’t really miss the benefit of being wireless and no longer have to deal with lag or interferance. Also the HyperX is super comfortable- I used to get sore pinched ears wearing the Logitech but these are so soft and fit so well around my ears. The HyperX is also lighter and fits the shape of my head better. I really wanted the Pink and White headset but I wasn’t willing to spend another £35 pounds for it- I have to say even though red/black isn’t my favorite color combo this headset looks nice. It’s sleek, well made with quality materials and all the cables are very nice and long with quality nylon wrappings. Overall I am *very* happy with this purchase and wish I’d made the change sooner.

Honestly, these are solid headphones. The sound is crisp, voices come through clean, and the bass has enough punch without feeling like it’s drowning everything out. I’ve been using them mostly for mobile gaming and they do the job really well — BUT heads up, if your phone doesn’t have a headphone jack (which most don’t these days), you’ll need an adapter. That’s a little annoying, but once you’re set up, the comfort and audio quality make up for it. The build feels premium — sturdy frame, nice padding, and they don’t squeeze your head like a vice. The mic is surprisingly clear too, way better than the random Bluetooth earbuds I was using before. Price-wise, yeah, they’re a bit on the higher end compared to average headsets. If you’re just looking for something casual, these might feel expensive. But if you care about good quality and long sessions without ear pain, they’re worth it.

I bought a pair of the HyperX Cloud II headset, and they were so good, I came back and bought another. The sound is very, very good for the price. I also bought a more expensive headset around the same time by a different manufacturer and I have to say they were nowhere near as good as the HyperX Cloud II. The headset comes with a USB cable and a clip-on soundcard, with separate volume control and separate mic input level. There’s also a button to activate the 7.1 virtual surround sound. I should mention that this headset also works without the accompanying USB cable – in that it can be plugged straight into a standard 3.5 mm jack. There’s not that much loss of quality by removing the USB connection, but you do then lose the 7.1 virtual surround sound and the volume and input controls, as well as leaving the overall length of the cable much shorter. But it is useful to be able to connect it in a standard way through the 3.5 mm headphone jack. One issue I noticed, was that you need to make sure that the detachable mic “boom” is plugged in all the way – it almost has to click right in, otherwise the mic may not work, or it can even fall off the headset. This mic issue did not affect the overall usefulness of the headset for me, but it might become a problem for someone using it for gaming where more physical movement is involved. Incidentally, I only noticed the difficulty plugging the microphone in all the way with one of the two headsets I bought, so it may be a one-off. Since the boom mic part is fully detachable, for anyone just wanting to use the headset as headphones, then they will work very well for this, without the intrusive mic getting in the way or sticking out. I used one of the pairs I bought purely as headphones – minus the mic part. The sonic quality is incredible and you barely hear any external noises around you. The bass is excellent as well as the general fidelity of the sound. They are comfortable on the ears and I highly recommend the headset. I think they are worth 5 to 10 times the price they actually cost.

Very comfortable headset with good audio
I absolutely love these headsets to the point I actually bought a second pair. The biggest positives about this headset to me is they are extremely comfortable to wear and the sound quality is great.Regarding comfort the headsets come with two sets of ear cushions; the one that’s pre-installed is a faux leather style but there is also a set of fabric ones that come included if you want to swap them out. I stuck with the faux leather ones that were pre-installed and I just can’t overemphasize how comfortable these things are to wear even for a long durations. They are adjustable and relatively flexible so I think these work very well for most head shapes and sizes. It’s not typically a problem but on hot days sometimes it can get a little sweaty with the headsets on but generally it’s not a problem. I’d also say they are relatively light and also they don’t “overly squeeze” your head.Regarding sound quality these are very solid for day to day use. They are not audiophile grad headsets by any means but they still do a fantastic job for gaming and casual music listening. They do support 7.1 surround sound emulations which you can enable and disable via the controller for the headsets; generally I keep it turned off for personal preference but it does work and is an option to use. Speaking of the controller, it also has volume up/down adjustment which comes in handy if you don’t want to go through game settings and want to quickly on the fly adjust volume levels. The microphone is passable. Again, it’s by no means something you’ll probably want to stream with if you’re trying to achieve “professional” level of audio quality but it’s also not bad. For chatting with friends/teammates it’ll definitely get the job done. It is removable which is a plusTo plug in the headphones you can choose to use input jack or connect the input jack to the set controller in which case you’ll get the option to use USB port. This is great because if I want to use my headsets to listen to music on my phone via standard input jack it works or if I want to connect via USB it works as well.Onto the quality of the headset – yeah it’s great. My first pair lasted me at least 5 years and only broke due to carelessness on my end. These feel well built, they’ve withstood the test of time and the gun metal accents look really nice. They’re a solid choice and would recommend them

    Great Quality
I bought these to replace my old gaming headset. The sound quality is amazing, mic is crystal clear and they are extremely comfortable! If you aren’t set on getting the white, the black cloud 3s are cheaper and the same quality. I paid the pink tax because I wanted headphones that match my setup. Worth it for me personally.
