Item is excellent and works well. I add the caveat here that I am only surmising the following. Due to the way it ‘intelligently’ handles its output, it caused a problem with the dash cam that I had in it. With auto start/stop of my vehicle, on restart, it causes the dashcam to stop and restart. In slow moving traffic, the constant restarting of the dashcam is irritating. No problem, the dashcam is now plugged into a separate available USB socket on the dash, using the adapter to charge other devices, so no problem but something other folks might want to be aware of.
