Stylish, works well. The internal volume is a little low but the external speaker is excellent (for my aging ears).The baby monitor feature makes an excellent intercom in the house.The “analogue” clock face is brilliant beside the bed in the night.The small handset base is very light making it prone to tipping when I’m fumbling.All in all a really good German concept which I think is manufactured in Taiwan.I’m very pleased with the purchase.

I bought the Gigaset Family A duo cordless phone system to replace an old Gigaset system. The handsets are nice looking and have a nice feel to them, sound quality is excellent and the ring tones and volume are also good. The address book is large up to 200 entries, it has a call black list system and the answer machine is very clear with remote access. It is easy to set up in fact you just need to plug it in an that’s it, but if you want more, download the full instruction book for all the extra features that this system can offer. I would recommend this unit.

Good sound, all very intuitive, answering machine sets itself. The instructions could have been written by the guy from ‘Big Bang Theory’. The index has 201 entries (TWO HUNDRED AND ONE). To put the clock right, is it under ‘c’ (clock) or ‘t’ (time)? no, obviously it’s under ‘s’ …(set). Bin the instructions, and enjoy the rest!

A ‘Which’ magazine best buy and so far all really good. Smart design, especially like the traditional clock face.Set up more intuitive than guide booklet suggested. Having two adapters for the router really useful as ours wasn’t just the Ethernet plug in. Yep, very pleased so far.

I have set up the system and used it for just a couple of days.The system was easy to set up in that it was similar to a system I was replacing. I thought I was in trouble as the package includes a connector to the old style BT sockets which no longer fit the phone socket on the back of a broadband routers. Luckily I had an adaptor to hand.The phones look good and seem to be well made.The audio is of good quality but is unfortunately very low volume. In fact the ring tone is nearly totally useless due to thie lack of volume. It has no carry at all to ring around the house.I bought this to replace on old clapped out system but at least the old system had a decently loud ringer. I solved the problem by plugging in both the old and new systems. The old system provides the loud ringing and then I pick up the phone from the new system.

Nice elegant unit. Love the clock display feature when the unit is idle.Sound quality is good and the menu is easy to understand.My only criticism is the syncing between the units has to be done through the menu rather than automatically.

A very straightforward setup, perhaps the most inconvenience of all is having to enter manually your contacts list for every extra phone or extension you buy.I like the protection it offers the owners by rejecting calls with no numbers displayed, I also like the analogue clock displayed on standby a very useful feature which you can clearly see. ( This feature will only work when it’s connected to your router).Sound quality is superb, the plastics used to encase the phone & cradle look & feel solid to the touch, overall I’m very pleasantly surprised by this unknown brand to me.I understand Gigaset is German & has been producing home technology from Bocholt, Germany since 1941, which pleasantly surprised me. For me this definitely convinced me to buy.Delivery prompt well communicated & within window time set by Think Assemble.Excellent no drama’s!Thank you.
