At work, we’ve been using standard issue PODS — basically bulky handheld scanners with terrible mapping systems. They’re outdated, hard to use, and the routing is awful — constantly trying to send you down narrow roads, which is far from ideal in a truck. Add in poorly installed docks that force you to take your eyes off the road, and it’s a bad combo.A colleague recommended this device to me, and it’s been a game-changer.✅ Live traffic updates when linked to your phone✅ Wi-Fi updates to keep maps and software current✅ Much more accurate and driver-friendly routing✅ Responsive and FastWe have a no windscreen-mount policy, and I hate vent mounts (they block the A/C), so I got creative and used a motorbike handlebar mount on the truck’s grab handle — perfect size, secure placement, and easy to view without distraction.Once connected to your phone, this thing is loaded with features. If you’re a professional driver looking for a reliable, modern alternative to outdated systems, this is well worth the investment.

Great to set up, Birds Eye satellite view on arrival is super useful. You can pinpoint bays, security etc!All the usual sat nav for trucks stuff, size, load, haz chem….ability to have multiple trailer setups. But while playing with the settings, found you can add a reversing camera. The Garmin BC 40 can be easily modified to attach to the side of a trailer by suction cup or magnet and blind side reverses are no longer blind.Just turn the sat nav portrait, it’s like having an extra mirror on your left that the trailer doesn’t block! Handy to know when Jack knife parking that your rear is clear of the truck in the bay next to you.

Bought this for our son who has just started driving a coach. This little Beauty has the versatility to put the length hight and width of the coach or truck. Can even be used for your car. very easy to use great quality and value for money screen is a good size.

I have had to pull over several times in the last few weeks to check google maps on my phone as this has poor poor information. Road closers are a real problem. The sat nav will try and reroute you down a closed road . This would be acceptable for small minor roads . But the m25 !!!! .Re routing and route shaping is not as simple as google. Will sell and go tom tom but I fear that will be the same . These companies can’t compete with Google that is worth a trillion plus pounds . But until they have hgv maps the truck sat navs can bleed more money out of us for a poor service

Got to be honest I have only ever used Garmin sat navs and have never been let down its a must have as far as I’m concerned. It’s not a life saver its a way of getting somewhere but you have to still be aware of surroundings I know that sounds simple but when you follow something religiously you will come unstuck. Now the visuals on this 10 out of 10,directions 8 out of 10 and all the other bits brilliant parking traffic ect brilliant but it is only an aid the birds eye view is ok so give it a 10

After having TomTom for many years, this was recommended to me by a friend. How utterly disappointing.First, the actual processor can’t keep up with itself. The lag is tremendous with a very notchy display. It takes an age to switch from day colours to night colours.Second, it’s supposed to be a truck sat nav and yet every single industrial estate I’ve been to is apparently in a 7.5 tonne weight limit. If it doesn’t have any information on your destination, it automatically says it’s in a weight limit. This could make navigation very difficult as you never know whether it’s accurate or not.Third, the traffic is just awful. I was apparently in traffic jam that moved 30 miles in front of me. Very unreliable and the alternative routes just aren’t there.Fourth, just like TomTom, it keeps trying to send me down roads that haven’t been built yet.So in summary, this is just overpriced garbage. The accuracy is non existent and is not to be trusted. The cheap Chinese ones on ebay are much better.

    Problemi
Ma è possibile che dopo meno di un anno il navigatore si spenga da solo e prima di ripartire ci vuole dai 20 minuti fino ai 50 minuti
