Genuinely Surprised – These Aren’t Trash
We needed reliable radios for outdoor adventures with these priorities: waterproofing, solid range, durability, and all-day usability.We tested the Gaswei G2Pro+ side-by-side with Motorola Talkabout T600 and Bushnell LPX650 in light urban terrain and forested environments.What Gaswei G2Pro+ gets right:- Solid construction, feels tougher than its price suggests- Waterproof (IP67), floats, dust-resistant- Good feature set: NOAA weather channels, VOX, privacy codes, dual PTT- Clear sound quality even at distance- Compatible with other makes/models of FRS radios- Excellent range performance- Battery life that holds up against the best of the groupWhere Gaswei surprised us:Performance. We only bought these to stack up against the Bushnells, which I assumed would dominate. Honestly, I expected throwaway junk. Instead, they outperformed both Bushnell and Motorola in range, clarity, and battery life.Runner-up: Motorola T600 — Decent range, rugged, and genuinely waterproof as advertised. But the battery life? Brutal. About 3 hours before you’re scrambling for a charger. We’ve been using this model (and the Motorola T92 H2O) for years purely because of the brand name. We just lived with the garbage battery life because the range was solid.Disappointment: Bushnell LPX650—looked premium, priced premium, delivered bargain-bin performance. Worst range and weakest audio of the three.Bottom line: With a lower price, Gaswei G2Pro+ delivered the reliability we needed. If range and clarity matter more than marketing hype, these are the radios to get.

Very good battery life, decent range, and good sound quality.
My wife and I use walkies while traveling for inter-vehicle communication, me in the RV and she in the”chase vehicle”. Towing is not a viable option for us so, she drives the SUV. As such, we have tried several different walkies and these are the best we’ve found. They are not as user friendly as some other walkies because you have to click through many menu option screens to access the various features – which can be problematic if you are driving. However, these have exceptionally good battery life (16 hours of use between charges), a decent range (though not quite as great as advertised), and the sound quality is quite good. They have many features which we do not use but could be useful for applications beyond basic communications. I would definitely recommend these walkies.

Trés bon produit mais la portée n’est dans ma banlieue n’est que de 500m
Très bon produit ! Très beau et bien solide. Mais la portée réelle n’est que de 500 mètres dans ma banlieue ! (1km avec beaucoup de sons parasites) Pourtant il n’y a pas beaucoup de maisons dans mon quartier de la rive sud de Montréal. J’espérais pouvoir communiquer avec ma fille quand elle sort de son école qui est à 1,3km , il était indiqué dans l’annonce 3 à 5 km. Mais dans la boite il y a des indications beaucoup plus réalistes sur le ”maximum range” (voir photo), alors j’ai renvoyé les talkie walky et j’en ai commandé d’autres qui sont 2 fois le prix avec puce G4 et range illimité.

These walkie talkies are awesome. We never get miles away but they are awesome for camping and when the kids go to the neighbors. We can always stay in contact and the batteries last for ever. We found them easy to use and the communication is crystal clear. I am happy with my purchase.

Took these snowboarding! The charge lasted for the whole trip and I didn’t even have to charge it for the second trip. The connection was fine when we split up on the mountain too.
