Nice looking but easily chipped
I have had this two weeks and had it professionally installed. However the surface finish chips very easily and already have three marks on the front edge.

Great budget fire place
Great looking piece and instantly turned our room into a ‘living room’. The heater works well but the visual flame effect is very good on it’s own and if the heater isn’t used then you can have a TV mounted on the wall above it. It’s quite basic, no remote control or timer functions but can’t complain for the money. Since we bought this there is a new deal on a marble surround though for not much more money than the painted MDF (which stank for the first 2 weeks too as clearly hot off the production line) that we would have gone for if we’d waited.

Warm feeling without the heat
The fire glow and flames give you a real feeling of warmth without having the heater on.
Fire looks as if its always been part of our home, nice solid looking appearance.
Minor downside:
Would be good to be able to turn up brightness of the glow when you have the room light on.
Can be tricky trying to slot the bottom chrome trim back in after removing protective cover.

Stylish Addition
A fantastically well made product that really adds style to our living room. The packaging was brilliant and the product survived a house move in its packaging. The installation is super easy and a simple dremel tool cut into the skirting board for a flush finish. We purely use for the lighting effect than for heating the room

This is a nice quality fire surround with fire delivered on time and unpacked by delivery crew and all packing taken away , we inspected fireplace and all was well no marks in perfect condition.This was all done before the delivery crew left . Great service from thinkassemble.co.uk
