    It’s important to note, that these chips do 100% work as they should.However, it is also important to note that they are dual channel, this is why the tx/rx pins are not through hole. The max3232 chips are two pairs of data lines (one on top side of pcb, the other on the bottom)the arrows on the pcb are inverted – so in my case I had to connect TX2 to the arrow facing outwards and RX2 to the inward facing arrow.On the rs232 side, TXD to the outward facing arrow and RXD to the inward. I only required the ground from the rs232 side, but supplied 3.3V from the esp32.As long as you are aware of the limitations, these are fantastic boards. I soldered pin headers on both sides to enable easily putting jumper wires in to find out what was going wrong.I would give 5 stars, but for lack of documentation and clarity. They are good value for what they are.

    They work fine.I purchased these to make wiring up part of a project easier, however I found the silkscreen on the boards a little unclear and I ended having to open the datasheet and pin the connections out myself before I could get the project working.This wasted the time I saved by buying premade boards.

    May as well solder direct to the chip, so called “breakout board” is useless. Holes missing & solder pads poor

    Funzionante!Il segnale viene invertito..Ma occhio che i pad si staccano dal pcbE li puoi buttare, salvo che non ti colleghi sulMax direttamente
