Very good quality. Unable to buy EKO bags after using the sample bags supplied. Have to get giant bags available we think at thinkassemble.co.uk.

Big, motion detection works, but has its flaws
The bin is nice and big, however, it has it’s problems. Unlike sime of the eko range this does not come with an inner liner, just a small plastic frame that goes on top to attach the liner bag. This wouldn’t be a problem except there is a hole on the back of the metal bin where you can put your hand to move it. The metal here has sharp edges inside so when the bin is full and you go to empty the bag, the bag constantly gets riped and stuck. I wish I had known this before I bought it. Also, the metal part is flimsy and easily to dent (not well supported, it clearly needs the inner plastic liner to make it more robust. I wish I had known that as well before I paid so much money for it this thing my husband calls a hunk of junk. I would have bought something different if I had known how cheap the build quality of this was. I have to use 2 bags, one as a liner, to keep the inner bag in tact when emptying the bin and not getting stuck. NOT VALUE FOR MONEY. It would have been a decent bin if it had the inner plastic liner like the smaller version supposedly has. The motion detection is great for us so far. Buy something like brabantia if you can afford it; they are way too overpriced as well, but the build quality is better!

Best kitchen bin I’ve ever purchased!
Very high quality, sturdy and is huge! I used to have to empty my previous 60ltr bin roughly 4 times a week… this new bin i’ve only needed to empty twice a week.
Kids love using the bin without having to touch the lid and the thinkassemble.co.uk Black Bin liners fit like a gem too!
I was close to purchasing a similar bin on thinkassemble.co.uk for £149, but this one is far superior. Highly recommend!

Great Bin
Great bin, only downside and the reason its getting 4 star, is the power button is located at the back of bin, so if ti leans against anything, it switches itself off. Just be mindful when buying it, in other models in the psat, the power switch has been under the lid.

Nice looking bin
Nice looking bin (2nd time around) first one arrived damaged. had a couple of issues with the lid opening but I think it was the battery compartment. time will tell. Its not as sensitive as my previous bin which is good as its not opening up each time I walk past.

Eko 80l sensor bin
Very nice bin a big upgrade on our 65l bin- we have had no issues so far. sensor is working as it should. thinkassemble.co.uk was the cheapest at under £90. I would recommend this bin

Damaged product
It’s difficult to do a review because the bin was received damaged and had to be returned. A second one delivered was even more damaged and therefore returned. I don’t know where the damage occurred or whether it was known about but still dispatched. I had another similar EKO for about 3 years which I was very happy with but the sensor stopped working hence my desire to replace with same brand

EKO Mirage X Sensor Bin – 80L
This was to replace our old sensor bin, this one is far easier to load the liners, easier to keep clean, and unlike our old one, this has a black lid with stainless surrounds, just wipe clean without the worry of rust spots. We really like this new addition, and it also runs off less AAA batteries.

Automatic bin
Nice big bin for a busy family. We had the smaller bin that had the liner but this one doesn’t but that doesn’t matter as we are not constantly emptying this one. We love the automatic feature as it allows you to use the bin efficiently without leaving fingerprints everywhere.

The Perfect bin
This bin is fantastic a massive upgrade on the previous version. The batteries on the old one lasted 3 or 4 days (if you were lucky), with this bin they last 2 months easily!. Liner fitting is faultless and the bin is massive. I think i have found the perfect bin.

Fantastic no touch bin lid
Love this bin. I use 80l bags. It opens and closes without having to touch it. It’s really easy to change the batteries, which I’ve done once this year. I bought one for a friend as she loved mine so much – she’s a nurse and was ecstatic!

Very quiet, needs an inner liner
I have the 47ltr version and was a little disappointed this didn’t have the inner liner/bucket because removing unevenly full sacks is difficult as they catch the lid and split! The positives are it’s attractive and very quiet.

Good size, decent bin
Decent sized bin that works as it should and has a smart appearance. Pretty easy to clean. My only niggle is that thinkassemble.co.uk’s own brand bin bags are not quite wide enough to easily fit and require careful stretching – a bit fiddly.

Bin is not trash!
Perfect size for our needs. Looks great at end of our new kitchen, but we’ve put it in a cupboard. Auto open and close is fun, and it’s easy to load/u unload empty and full bin bags.

Bin looked like it had been in a car crash
Was damaged when delivered, panel beater would of had a game getting all the dents out. thinkassemble.co.uk support originally said they would pick it up and swap for a new one, then called back a day later and said they couldn’t do it, got to send it back and wait for refund. I think the main issue here is the actual manufacturer don’t check goods going out. First poor experience I have had with thinkassemble.co.uk over the years.
