Bought this to replace an existing cordless Dyson and seemed really good value from thinkassemble.co.uk. Was hoping that I could use the existing docking station, but found that the battery has grown a little bigger. Anyway the fixing points on the docking station were the same, so a quick swap out. Vacuum itself is powerful, can cover the whole house on a single charge. Comes with a wide variety of attachments for all situations. Well built. And I’m hoping the redesigned trigger mechanism is more robust that previous model… as this appeared to be its only Achilles heel.

Hair really doesn’t clog up the cleaner head!
This cordless vacuum cleaner is very powerful, effective and has a long run time. I was able to clean approximately 100sqm of tiled floor area with 20 minutes battery power to spare. My only niggle is the fact that you have to keep the power trigger depressed whilst cleaning, so my finger started to hurt after a while because the plastic around the trigger button is hard and scratchy. My husband particularly likes the futuristic design and especially the hum sound when you release the trigger, which is quite amusing.

Very Good
Excellent vacuum such an improvement on our old Dyson. I had almost given up on Dyson until I purchased this model. I’ve had so many over the years and they seem ok for a while and then fail for what ever reason. This model has everything you need, suction power, 3 different modes and a ton of tools. One thing you may want to purchase is the fluffy soft roller if you have a large hard floor surface ( £30 from thinkassemble.co.uk ). I would choose this over the V12 as it has a larger bin to collect dust, etc as you don’t want to be emptying it twice when vacuuming your home. For the price you really can’t go wrong, my wife has her own cleaning business and even she was impressed given all her work vacuum cleaners are German !!!

Irritating elements but hoovers nicely
The suction is good. The dust container fills up quickly. I have a dog and hoover daily, the dust container needs emptying every room and a half. You have to take the stick off in order to empty the dust container.
There’s no way to keep the on button working unless you are holding it on. Its easy to trigger the on button while you are emptying the dust container.
Apart from these irritations it hoovers nicely. I have still kept the DC02 which I still use on the big carpets

Dyson V11, Great piece of kit , it’s impressive
Bought to replace a aging Dyson V6 and so far can’t believe how far they have moved on , it’s a different beast, the power and battery life are way beyond the old V6 did , boost function very impressive, Comes apart much easier than the old V6 for cleaning

Comes with lots of different attachments for getting around all areas and tight spaces.
Even my young children can use it easily because it really light and manageable.
Super powerful and the charge lasts for ages so can easily get around the whole house.

Great technology but flawed – and expensive.
I’ve got mixed feelings about this Dyson. The suction power is very good, and the battery lasts well in my experience. I have found that for 99% of the time, I use it on the lowest “eco” setting, which picks up everything our conventional vacuums pick up, one of which is a Miele and the other a Henry. I love the portability of a battery vacuum. There are three reasons I have only given it 3 stars:-
1) As other reviews have said, the attachments other than the main roller brush are absolute junk. They are literally no use to me – if I need to use a pointy stick or bruch attachment, I will have to use our Miele. Since I think the attachments partly “justify” the higher cost of this packege over other Dyson options, for me this is a real issue and I slightly feel I have been ripped off, even at the slightly lower thinkassemble.co.uk price.
2) The biggest downside in use is having to empty the cannister very often. It is genuinely annoying. On balance, I still use this cleaner over the wired ones, as I see it as a quid pro quo, unplug and reconnect a poer lead as you move from room to room, or empty that cannister every 5 minutes, and I mean every 5 minutes.
3) Nothing has broken yet (I have had it about 3 months) but the cover of the cannister, and various other parts of the device FEEL brittle and not very strong. I feel as though I need to take more care not to inadveratntly break it than I would like. But we’ll need to see whether it lasts 5 years – if it does, maybe I’ll be impressed with its robustness but early imprssions are it would surprise me if it lasts anything like that long.

Perfect vacuum cleaner. I don’t need to charge it all the time. Can charge after every 2-3 days if I’m vacuuming every single day, otherwise can charge once in 2 weeks.

Great cordless for dog hair
We tried a few cordless vacs and were unhappy with quality, power and battery life. Until we tried this Dyson V11 on a great deal from thinkassemble.co.uk. It is incredible hoovering up hair from our large shedding dog and, seamlessly and gently yet with powerful suction, adapting to our rugs and wood floors alike. The battery life seems very good for cordless, over 40mins on medium setting which has been sufficient for all our debris. Wish I’d gotten this one first!

very convenient to have and keep on top of cleaning carpets and flooring lots of accessories which are very useful for different cleaning areas bit on expensive side but guess thats the price you have to pay for the convenience with is far easier than me having to get full vacuum cleaner out does make a good job but sometimes you have to run over things twice or so before it picks up

Great upgrade in performance
Replaced a Dyson V6 and is a step change in performance and usability. High, Medium and Low settings are clearly displayed and show charge state and time remaining. Medium power is more than adequate for most tasks and gives a run time of over 30 minutes. I very rarely need to use the High setting but this has a run time of about 13 minutes. The point and shoot dust canister is a great improvement over the V6, although complete removal and fitting can be a bit fiddly. The quickly detachable battery is convenient but expensive (Dyson £109) and only really necessary if you do in excess of 30 minutes hoovering in one go. Comes with a good selection of tools. The large motorised head doesn’t get clogged with hair like the old one did but occasionally bits of grit get stuck in the fixed vanes which can make quite a noise. Great deal when on offer at Cosco.

Good quality, would buy again
I have head a Dyson Animal for 11 years, but it was getting a but temperamental and I hated having to remove the hair manually. I bought this and I couldn’t believe how much more it sucks out of our carpets! Absolutely brilliant. It’s heavy, but the battery power is good (I have a 4 bed town house – lots of stairs) and gets everything done in one go, with power to spare. Lots of extra tools. No hair tangles anymore.
