OK but with a couple of annoyances
Overall these are pretty good. However, I have given them 4 stars, rather than 5, because of a couple of issues. The first, which doesn’t show in the picture, is that, although the kettle and toaster are chrome and white, the lead and plugs supplied are black. Why couldn’t they put white leads and plugs on? The second is the kettle spout. This is not a normal spout shape, more a short tube poking out from near the top of the kettle. It pours OK, but as you tilt the kettle back towards vertical an annoying extra trickle of boiling hot water comes out. Why was this not picked up when they tested it? The kettle and toaster both work OK, with the toaster producing fairly even toast.

Disappointed
While stylish and well made, the toaster won’t accept our normal bread. We have had to buy a smaller size as the slots aren’t long enough. Also it toasts more in the middle, leaving the edges of the bread undercooked. The kettle works well and is fast, but the nozzle sends steam out horizontally, which I think, is a little dangerous. All in all, not what I would expect from a top make like Dualit.

For the price we paid I believe you could purchase better,
The kettle is very noisy when boiling, the toaster is good but we find it’s not equal on either side, one side will be nice and brown but the other is either under done or burnt.
To be completely honest if I could return I would,
Wish I’d reviewed this set more as I found a lot of people have the same issues

Very poor product
Very poor product would not recommend the toaster does not release the toast even on its lowest setting. It’s filled my kitchen with smoke twice and the plastic on the side ha started to yellow already ive only had it 3 days. I’m returning it! very dissapointed!

Kettle is deafening
This is the second set I have had and had I known how loud the new kettle is I would have looked at another make. It is s loud that I can hear it boiling upstairs and that is without my hearing aids in!!!! Do not boil it when the TV is on as you will not hear the TV. It is truly deafening. A shame as I am a big fan of Dualit.

Product overall is excellent and had features we didn’t realise(blue light on switch on for example).kettle does seem a longer time than normal to switch on and a longer time than normal to switch off when boiling..wondering if we will ever change the colour panels-but its great to have the option. Keep innovating

The product is quality built, fits nicely in the kitchen.
The only grief is that the kettle is rather noisy boiling the water and it’s easy to burn your hand if not paying attention when handling it.

Quality product
After returning the Dualit Lite, the Architect range is in a different league. The quality is ace, and the fact you interchange the panels on both kettle and toaster to match your taste or kitchen is a unique idea. The kettle spout is amazing. It doesn’t drip a single drop ever! The toaster when toasting, has got a peek function letting you lift the lever to look at you products whilst not effecting the cycle.

I really did not want this set as I have have the same previously , I like change if I am buying new, but I am absolutely delighted with it ! I love the colour , sort of off white , the kettle pours perfectly for me and the toaster feels solid and toasts perfectly, I am honestly delighted. The colour brightens the dark corner it is placed. I could not be more pleased with both items !

Good Quality
Recently purchased these two dualit products. They are as I expected well made and attractive. The toaster is smaller than my previous toaster but takes thick slices of bread easily. I like the fact that it has two different controls which means a couple can have their own individual settings for toast. Its my first dualit kettle and so far it has lived up to my expectations.

Love the sneaky peak feature of the toaster. Toasts evenly all thicknesses of breads.
Great kettle easy pour spout no splashing.

Would not buy again
This toaster and kettle looks very stylish and I love the kettle but I am disappointed with the toaster a full slice of bread died not fit in properly and I am yet to make toast that is not burnt without standing and watching over it

Not a great product.
Found the kettle very difficult to see the water gauge line, the spout was very difficult to control when pouring the water and if you accidentally touched the metal you burnt your hand. Expensive and have much better cheap kettle.

Nothing to write home about
A lot of hype about these two products, but to be honest they do nothing more than a far cheaper product. The sensor technology on the toaster means, I’m not sure what! It still burns the toast unless you are careful and the kettle is noisy and takes quite a while to boil. They look ok but nothing special.
