The Dettol spray is a great way to clean surfaces with a leave on disinfectant. It is hassle free and easy to use.In light of the Covid-19 outbreak, i wanted a simple way to spray high touch surfaces like cabinet handles and door knobs. I also spray things like kitchen counters, taps and toilet seats. The spray sometimes comes out larger than fine mist but if you give it a good shaking before spraying, it works exactly as you would expect.It doesn’t dry as quickly as you’d expect as you do want to give it a good misting. I do think it is easy to use up quite a lot of this quickly so stock up as you can!Whilst Dettol doesn’t claim this kills Covid 19, it is a strain of coronavirus. The reason they can’t say it kills it is because they haven’t done required clinical testing to be able to claim that it definitively works. However testing has been done on Sars and Mers (i believe based on my research), and this clinically disinfects those types of Coronavirus/flu virus. As a result, they think that it is likely to be able to disinfect Covid-19 Coronavirus. I tend to believe this, and I would rather use something to disinfect than nothing at all!
