Good oven with frustrating control knobs.
I bought this Air Fryer to replace an existing halogen oven in the hope it would replace more than one of my current kitchen gadgets. In its primary role as an air fryer it works very well, the only exception being as a toaster where for traditional toast a toaster is much more convenient, however for cheese on toast etc it is perfect. It is smart and convenient on my worktop however the controls are ridiculously unreadable. I have to keep a torch ready to see what setting i am making with the 4 control knobs. I guess over time i will get use to the settings and it wont matter as much but as a beginner it is more than a little frustrating.

Amazing Mini Oven
Well this little oven is amazing and i love it. Its just does so much. Apart from being an airfryer, it bakes, grills, warms and toasts (best toast ever).
It does however have a couple of faults. The markings on the working knobs are poor and difficult to see. I’ve seen this mentioned in every review, so why haven’t Cuisinart done something about it. Also the oven temperature is too hot. 180 must be at least 210!! Ok its easy to adjust the temperature but maybe it could be rectified!! by the manufacturer.
My last criticism is the UK price which is nearly double of that in the USA. Why?

Versatile and excellent product !
Versatile and excellent value product. Perfect for 2 people but would take a bit more planning for a family of 4. Will also be using as a temporary oven when my kitchen is refurbished.
Airfryer setting works great for usual items like chips, battered or breaded fish etc. Bright inside light means you can see how the food is cooking without having to open door.
Roast and pizza setting works well with supermarket chilled / frozen food in foil containers, as well as pizza and salmon wrapped in foil.
Just need to use shorter cooking times. And when using the air fryer basket, putting baking / drip tray on lower rack position stops anything getting on lower heating element.
Lining baking tray with foil also saves a lot of cleaning.

Cuisinart mini oven
I am in general very happy with my Cuisinart cooker, but find the dials very difficult to read, I have to use a torch to see the symbols on the knobs. I would also have appreciated more advise about using the cooker. A recipe book would have been very useful, and I was surprised that one was not included in the package. I have managed to burn a few meals whilst learning to use it. I did buy a recipe book online, but it is very American and does not give basic information. A British cookery book would be useful.

Works well, heating symbols not clear
I bought this to replace an aging similar machine. This is capable of doing more than my old machine and does perform well, once you have worked out your own “timings”.
The biggest draw back for me, with my “advanced years” vision is that the images for selecting which function to use are quite difficult to make out in most lights. Possibly because of the unit’s colour scheme maybe, the colour of the etched image possibly? Anyway, I have got around this by having the instruction manual page open at the “settings” page and then do a “count-look-see” to ensure that I am indeed using the correct function. If I were to use the machine on a more regular basis then maybe I would not have to refer the instruction manual for “which setting to use and it’s location on the dial.

Great energy saving device.
I cannot rate this mini oven highly enough! I have only had it a short while and it has now almost replaced my main oven – so my electricity consumption has been drastically reduced! It’s quick for warming things up, and the air fryer setting works a treat. So far everything I have tried has come out perfect, long may it continue! The only draw back (so far) is that the dials are very difficult to read, but even that minor problem has been solved with a little tippex placed on the markings.
Overall I am a very happy customer.

Cuisinart Air Fry Mini Oven.
Only used the air fry facility so far. My main criticism would be the control knobs are very difficult to see. The instruction booklet is not very detailed eg no recipe ideas and quite vague instructions. The temperature knob could do with being a little better calibrated as could the timer.

I’ve more than one kitchen and have one or more of these in each. the oldest is about 3 years old and is still going. have cooked a leg of lam to a whole medium chicken. maybe a bit small for a family or a whole roast but big enough for 2 people. friends have also purchased these as having manual controls makes it easy for people with some disabilitys or elderly and to some less confusing than one with digital controls.

Mini air oven worked very well
I had no oven to roast my turkey for Christmas due to renovations and I looked at this product and compared it with others also price deal it arrived on time very light to carry and actually dose the job roast the turkey it a small size oven but cut turkey to pieces on a tray and roast away very good product

I haven’t cooked any large items ie a joint, however, steaks and pork chops have turned out perfect. Toast and the likes of chicken nuggets are excellent. My only criticism is the lack of cooking instructions so trial and error is the only answer.

At first looks it seems a great item, but to use it is very difficult unless you have a magnifying glass to read the instructions on the knobs. Its usability is not wonderful, I’m not is easier to use as cheaper models.

Brilliant. Treat it as a mini oven but better. Does so much more, grill, air fry etc. We haven’t used our big oven since our purchase.
