I read the reviews before buying and I agree with most of them, made of cheap and tatty plastic, no volume control as it says it has, but it does work. Its only meant in our case as a spare phone for my wifes side of the bed, and for that purpose it will do, as it is wall mountable and will give her extra space on her bedside cabinet. I would NOT recommend it as a main home phone. Some people have reported the cord from the phone line keeps popping out, but I think thats because they are not pushing it fully home till it clicks into place, just slipping it into the socket won’t work it needs pushing right down. It does NOT come with a UK compatible line for a uk phone socket, fortunately i had an old one that went in and it works fine (albeit white and not the red that came with the phone) It lights up fine when the phone rings. Neither phone cords are very long, neither the receiver one or the one to your phone socket on the wall so be prepared to buy an extention lead for either if you require a longer cord and don’t already have one you can use off an old phone.

It is not the same connection in uk, it needs a connector which can cost as much as phone, also it only has just over three feet leanth from socket, i surpose you get for what you pay for, but seems ok for the price,
