Smoked salmon D cut
Bought 2 packs for a special occasion buffet table. It was delicious, moist smoked salmon, well packaged and relatively easy to separate the slices. The flavour was not overly strong which reflected the quality of the fish and was enjoyed by all. To serve I separated and loosely rolled the slices, arranged on a platter around the outside and put a pile of fresh cooked cold prawns in the centre, decorated with thin cucumber slices, sprigs of dill and lemon wedges.

I’m really not sure about this smoked salmon. Perhaps the flavour is too strong for my liking or it’s not as ‘melt in the mouth’ as I like.
The perfect smoked salmon for me was ’s own Signature Norwegian smoked salmon but it disappeared from the shelves quite some time ago. I very much regret that it is no longer available as this brand doesn’t compare.

I wanted one packet for Christmas Day and the other to take to friends on Boxing Day. My husband found our one difficult to to separate the slices, (or was that down to the bubbly?) whereas our friends had no such problem. It was very tasty and so useful to have delivered.

Fancy smoked salmon
Beautiful smoked salmon and perfect for the post Christmas table. The flavour and texture was delicious. Not too easy to separate the slices but we got there. A really good quality salmon.
