I wanted to be able to use an Android phone in our 2016 Mercedes CLS shooting brake, which had wired apple carplay only with no touch screen just a control stick. To my total amazement this device does the job perfectly, pairing by bluetooth with my Google Pixel Fold 9 Pro and instantly showing Android Auto on the cars built-in screen and I have just done a 5 hour hour round trip, and all the usual features, calls, maps, amazon music, all worked faultlessly.

Patchy connection stuttering audio the troubleshooting steps don’t work at all.I’ve even downloaded the app from the manufacturer’s website and that doesn’t seem to work either there were several connections on the device. When it arrived, and I can’t seem to delete them to see if improves anything so at the moment, i’m having to wait for it to cycle through the connections for it to work

I ordered this item on 2 October (less than 2 weeks ago), having checked compatibility with my car.When connecting to my 718 Porsche (with PCM4.0) although basic functionality worked, some key interfaces via the steering wheel controls did NOT work. These were:- media volume up/down:- telephone call pick-up/end callThese interfaces DID work with an older example of this device, which I bought elsewhere, in 2023.When I enquired about a software update so that this “2025 Upgraded” version could be made to work as well as the older version, I was told that the hardware was too old to be upgraded!!So my recommendation is buy with caution, check functionality as soon as you get the device and return within the 30 day time window if it does not do what you need it to.I am now in the process of returning this “new” example.

Item delivered in time to Think Assemble locker. Code failed and once redelivered, Think Assemble sends automated threaten message. MG3 2023, dealer dud not explain Android would not connect. This device made the connection and automated when phone in car.

It works and after an update it connected my android phone to apple car play, screen quality was good and apps work (Waze and Spotify), however, the Bluetooth connection can be poor and can often disconnect multiple times.

Does what it says but… it takes multiple attempts to pair to the car. When it finally works with my interface (2017 citroen berlingo van) to use for goggle maps/ android auto it is too laggy to be of any real use which is a shame.

I was told it was impossible to get an Android phone to talk to carplay and that if have to change the head unit and yet here this little box is quietly doing the impossible! Easy to set up and just seems to work. My car is a Peugeot partner 2016 for the record.Well pleased

No compatibility with Android Auto
I purchased this product because it is advertised to operate Android Auto in the car, alongside the built-in Apple CarPlay. However, I noticed that Android Auto only connects successfully once every 24 hours. The initial connection each day works fine, but when I close the car and try to connect again later, the screen does not display properly. Instead, it shows colored dots and only the music plays.i woundering if any one faced this issue and if there is any solution for this
