Loud and compact backup alarm, IP67 rating does not test for pressure washing or frequent salt spray
This GAMPRO backup alarm is loud! When powered, it produces a short beep about once per second. The sound is very directional and drops off when listening from the back side, exactly what is desired in a backup alarm.It comes with a 9″ cable attached, but if that shorter length would require spicing and is a concern, the alarm is also available in a version with metal studs.The alarm is potted and IP67 water rated. Although fine for rainfall, that rating does not protect against water jets that might be found in a carwash or used to commercially clean a vehicle, and it does not protect against saltwater corrosion that might occur if used in areas where exposure to winter road salt is common.Overall a good backup alarm if an IP67 rating is sufficient, and consider the cable length when choosing a connection option.

Heavy Duty and Incredibly Loud
This thing is built like a tank. The construction feels solid and durable, and it absolutely delivers on volume. I’m using it as a motion-triggered alarm at one of my warehouses, and it’s more than loud enough to get attention. The wiring was straightforward, and installation took just a few minutes. (I have a alarm system that delivers voltage.)For the price, this is a great value. It performs better than more expensive alternatives I’ve tested. Definitely a reliable option for anyone needing a high-volume, weatherproof alarm.

I must admit… I got this, to play a prank.Have a friend who’s a Dodge blow hard. All I ever hear is Dodge this, Ram this it’s a ram. Not a Dodge. Well, guess what smart guy, who do you think MANUFACTURERS RAM?!?!?!! I can’t stand that and all the other Chad’s and billy bobs with their “sweet ram” crap. That DODGE truck of his, is in the shop, more than I have ever seen him behind the wheel ACTUALLY driving it. 🤣🤣🤣Anyway, back to the task. This alarm, is worth every penny!! It’s loud, it’s durable, it’s definitely not a cheapo speaker you may find at harbor freight or something. It works JUST like you would expect, it was a snap to install, as was perfect for a speed install whilst he was distracted, and the look on his face… When he went to back out shortly after an impromptu and incognito install(I’m black ops)It was AMAZING to behold!!!! I would definitely recommend if you need one, and it’s for the purpose intended, but if you are a joker, don’t skip on this one. 😉

I ordered this backup alarm for my pickup, which I use for towing in the summer and plowing snow in the winter. Installation was much easier than I expected. I connected it directly to the electrical system that powers the reverse bulb on my older pickup and attached the alarm inside the bed. I chose the version with a wire over the screw terminals because I live in an area prone to rust. The plastic feels durable, and the alarm is loud. It works just as I hoped. It’s a good value for the money.
