The Canon 50mm f/1.8 is one of those golden lenses that isn’t too expensive. It’s a great first lens to learn the basics of framing and still photography. Lovely lens. I’ve got a number of lenses for my camera including a couple of L series and I still prefer this one.Lovely sharp photos, nice back ground blur when wanted.For the price of it compared to others I have its value for money.Must have in the collection.

All photographers should have a nifty fifty for those portrait/street photographer needs. They are light, don’t take up much room and are very fast with a 1.8 aperture. However, please don’t expect professional quality and remember that these are very cheap lenses so the quality is not as sharp as the RF50mm 1.2 USM. But the latter lens is £2k more expensive, so unless you really need the extra quality, then the RF50mm 1.8 STM is an absolute bargain.

Questa lente compatta offre prestazioni eccellenti. Pertanto, mi sono spesso trovato a dover allontanarmi notevolmente dai soggetti per ottenere le inquadrature desiderate.
