Ordered for Pensioner (aged 88) hard of hearing, sight okish but hey is 88, nice BIG buttons, Clear Bright Screen on Handset, Great range of ring tones so could test which was best for her. Fantastic phone, VERY easy to use. Has stopped ALL junk calls (which can be more frightening for the Elderly) now only people that can get straight through to her are people in her contacts stored on the Phone all others get screened (meaning her phone rings & she gets a message saying persons name, & she can say yes will take call or no) she is over the moon. Easy to use Answer machine built in too.HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Having been inundated with cold calls I bought this for the call blocking, the only down is the 16hr charging time before use! it was easy to set up, easy to use and it works, no unwanted calls since installation.

This phone is great. It is easy to set up once it’s charged….it’s clear…shows who is calling you and any calls you have missed. The buttons are clear and easy to use. The answer machine is clear to hear . You can choose your ring tones and level of volume etc…l would highly recommend this phone

Great blocking phone stops cold calls getting through if the numbers not in your list in the phone they won’t get connected . 🙂 did take a while to set up . But worth it plus works on digital voice/full fibre you must have caller id with your service provider for it to work

First of all I must say that I purchased this as a refurb for less than £20 so I have no idea how much the usual retail price is.This is an amazing phone with a HUGE variety of features including BT call guardian, answer machine, conversation recorder, call barring & diverting, remote access, phone book, VIP list, speed dial, caller ID and lots of other cool little features.This phone has it all so it’s hard to pick up on any bad points. The only thing that some may not like is the phones size as it is a fairly large handset and dock but if that is what you want then it really is perfect. I personally love the big easy to press buttons which is something that it quite rare on modern handsets.Call guardian is fanstastic, if a call is received from an international number, call centre, or number not stored in the phone book, call guardian will answer your call and ask for the callers name. If they leave a name your phone will ring and you can hear the recording and then decide whether you want to speak with them, divert to voicemail or simply end the call. It’s a great feature to prevent annoying cold callers.Highly recommended, I’d buy another in a heartbeat.

Initially I thought this handset would be fine as a replacement for our old one. The numbers are large, the display is clear and it’s easy to use. However, after a couple of months the phone has developed a crackle on incoming calls. The caller says my voice is clear & openreach have checked the line…. Wish I’d bought a brand new one now.

Is it easy to get the phone out the box and get working? Yes. If you’ve ever used a phone before it’s an absolute doddle to get working. There is a easy to follow manual for more complex things, if that’s what you want to do.Can you distinguish a call from an annoying person? Oh yes. If you want to let the answerphone take the call from someone you don’t want to speak to just add their name to contacts and give them an annoying ring tone! Job done.Love this phone!

Purchased this for my 86 year old mother in law and she’s had no problems despite struggling with technology. Buttons large enough for her to see without her glasses and was really easy for me to show her the features which she decided she didn’t want. She uses the answer phone with ease and dials out the old fashioned way as didn’t want me to program her numbers in. A great buy!
