Just sensational headphones. I did loads of research and landed on these. Completely set. Build quality excellent, comfort great and noise cancellation does the trick. Main thing is the sound quality

  2. Fancy a Bev Mate?

WOW! I’ve not had this musical experience with headphones this GOOD since my byer dynamic open ear headphones since the late eighties! I’ve had sony XM3/4s and a few others over the years along with my current mobile in ear buds the brilliant Technics AZ100s…..I’ve just A/B tested the earbuds against these and I’m blown away by the difference. Now there is a caveat here stock equalizer the PX8 S2s sound to me flat I left the first two bands flat then dialed in 4.5/5/5.5 on the mids to high and they sound AMAZING. Remember that everyones ears are different so this works just for me.I would recommend you use a good source like Qbuz or other high resolution for your music to get the best out of these headphones but I have to say music I have never listened to in the past sound SO good I’m listening to genres I’ve never listened to before they are that good!Build quality is OFF the charts you will not be able to stop smelling and looking at your investment sorry I know its weird but they are simply stunning to look at and that smell……If you have the spare cash floating around and you want to invest in the best in class Treat Yourself Don’t Cheat Yourself!

After using for around two weeks now I can confirm these are the best headphones I’ve ever owned and worth the spend. My last pair of over ear headphones were Sony WH1000XM4 so another mid range NC which did an amazing job whilst travelling. However the sound quality for my ear was always a slight issue but that noise cancelling was so supreme the compromise was worth itDesign and build of the Px8 S2 is totally premium without question and they are light and comfortable for long listening with a low profile. If you are like me and into aesthetics as well as function, the attention to detail are what I’d expect at this price point compared to other brands. The accessories including case and cables are premium also so you won’t be disappointed.I’ve read a lot about the lack of detail with the B&W software app but personally it’s less fussy compared to my Old Sony’s and I kinda like that. Simply sometimes being beat but without lacking any of the fundamental sound features. I mean a 5 band EQ is enough for most people and as I understand B&W are looking to upgrade the software so in time like Sony this may expand further with more features?Sound wise these headphones offer range without failing. Bright highs, I’ve found the mid cut perfectly acceptable for my ear and the bass, just wow when set to your ideal…I’m currently listening to Spotify with lossless sound and it’s exquisite. The level of detail and noise on each track is something I’ve never heard with any of my other headphones. As all other reviewers will state the noise cancelling isn’t up to Sony’s standard but what the Px8 S2’s lack ever so slightly in noise cancelling the make up for in volume and overall clarity.I’ve not tried them wired as yet via my android phone but not am I likely to either so can and won’t commentYes they are pricey, but if you want a decent future proof pair of cans at a mid range price these have the pedigree and sound to matchI could rap for hours at how great these headphones are and I’ve compared to other mid-top end brands and by far these are my favourites for the reasons listed. If you have the money, test all in this class

These are a luxury product that built really well with high end Materials. The sound is the best of the best for the price and I think you really do get what you pay for when it comes to these headphones and can’t recommend them enough so if your budget can swing it just buy them.

Looks good. Sounds good. Long lasting. Super quality

🎧Tested both the PX8 S2 and PX7 S3 side-by-side.🎧Sound quality between the two is practically identical in normal everyday listening.🎧Listening on Spotify lossless, I could not hear any meaningful difference.🎧I guess if you use a super hi-res service like Tidal or Qobuz you may find some difference but if you don’t use those services the PX7 is likely to be sufficient.🎧Any improvements on the PX8 S2 are very subtle and only noticeable in ideal, critical-listening situations.🎧PX8 feels more premium (materials & build), but I found them slightly less comfortable, that could just be because my PX7s are more moulded to my head at this time🎧For the price difference, the PX7 S3 offers better value for everyday listening

I will make this quick. These headphones are the best I have ever had and I currently own some other highly rated headphones and I have now stopped using them because the b&w Px8 S2 are so good. They are expensive but I went for it and I can honestly say they are worth every penny.

If your priority is audio quality, don’t think twice.Noise cancellation doing its job ok (not there with Bose etc)Excellent build quality as usual.
