Great product let down by installation service
Excellent product would have given 5* was it not for the installation service, couldn’t see availability until purchased and then first available appointment was not for 10 days. First installer refused to fit due to issue with isolator valve, even though we switched off at stop cock and drained the water. Had to rearrange for two weeks later, the second guy was superb and couldn’t understand why not fitted on first appointment

Having gone without a dishwasher for 3 years, it is such a joy to be using this Bosch machine. Quite amazed how much cleaner things are than hand washing. Wonderful buy.

No cutlery tray – why I chose this dishwasher
Pros:
NO CUTLERY TRAY – I first bought a model with a cutlery tray and I hated it. We have tall glasses so the top drawer could not take them anymore. It also meant I needed to drop the top drawer down, which then impacted on the space available below. Now our largest plates didn’t fit. Measure up your largest items and then chose your dishwasher accordingly. A comment I saw somewhere else – if you have kids they won’t bother arranging anything in the cutlery tray, so you might as well have a basket.
Efficient Dry function – it opens the door at the end of the cycle to allow things to air dry. Plastics come out dry! Not all models have this function. I love it. The last one has the Extra Dry function – I am certain it was a placebo button, it did nothing at all apart for making me feel like I might be saving time on drying.
Cleaning so far – cleans really well. I have 4 young children. Not every spec of food is rinsed off before it’s loaded in. This dishwasher will take on a lot.
Express cycle – series 4 Bosch dishwashers have a express cycle that’s 1hour. The series 6 is 1hr29min. We host a lot, having to run an express cycle in the middle of a party is a must for us. Every minute counts. Gone are the days of a 35min express cycle. So this seems to be the next best thing.
Cons – no lights on when delay start is activated. So unless you instal the app or open the dishwasher to check, there is nothing to indicate that it’s been set to start.

Good machine- bad first instillation team
Fantastic machine! The first team that came to instal the dishwasher were con men- an older and younger man- both English- they refused to instal the dishwasher because my extension hose was not bosh- but they came ready to cancel the delivery- trying to find any excuse- saying our sink was too far- the water pipe is not right- we begged them to check- they didn’t even want to look- and were adamant not to do the instillation and asked us to purchase a bosh extension pipe to replace what we had. We did this- costing us another £50 and two weeks with no dishwasher. The next installation man was fantastic- he came on time and did the instillation without using our new bosh hoses- he said it was unnecessary as all of our equipment was new and in working order. The first team of men seamed to fail all the jobs they were sent out to do- as they get paid the same- wether they do the instillation or not. I hope they get suspended from work!

Saved money on premium dishwasher
Looked for a new dishwasher and decided on this model. Not a cheap model, but saved Money buying from costco. Great delivery, put it in the kitchen for me so easy to just plumb straight in.
