The phone itself is excellent with a clear ringtone and it’s easy to hear the caller. The information booklet which came with it is totally inadequate. There is no diagram of the phone with labelled parts and such information supplied is confusing. For example, under contents it says”Ring volume, pg 61. “On pg 61 it says ” you can adjust the ringer volume using the ring volume control(20) refer to “overview of your phone “. Under 0verview of your phone it says “20. ring volume slide control” . But there is no diagram to show what or where “20” is. It took quite a lot of searching to find it.

I bought this phone for my elderly mother. It is digital voice ready, hearing aid compatible and works well with a t loop setting. My mum is very hard of hearing and wears hearing aids and can hear very well on this phone with the additional amplification. The LCD display is a little pale though and reflects the light.

Horrid shrill ring tone and just not that loud even when boosted. Now searching for an amplifier to add to the unit so I can actually hear people speaking to me. Why is it so difficult? Just put a volume button on the receiver so it can be turned up as high as you need, like a radio.

It took a bit of working out how to input numbers and I found that if you made a mistake it was easier to delete and start again rather than correct it. That aside the phone works fine and I feel happier knowing that my mother in law can see who’s calling her and avoid any possible scam calls.
