Great watch!! So I needed a new watch for work as my old Casio G shock died after a few years. As I work as an electrical engineer on the underground power network, I needed a strong watch that was durable in outdoor conditions. I was tempted to buy another Casio G shock but liked the idea of a smart watch but didn’t like the idea of needing to charge it every 1 or 2 days and thought they were a little delicate for what I need it for. After some research I decided to go for the Amazfit T rex 3 and wasn’t disappointed!Pros;Battery life, with daily use battery lasts over 20 days!Sturdy, very well built, don’t feel nervous about using it in extreme conditions, I brought a glass screen protector just for some extra protectionVery easy to use and fully of features, very quick and responsive.Cons;Size, it’s not a slim watch, it’s quite chunky which for my I don’t mind as I can live with that trade off for the extra strong built quality and plenty of battery life but just bare in mind it may be a bit too thick to slide under most long sleeves.Connectivity, it’s not laggy at all but there has been a few instances where I’ve missed notifications and the watch has lost connectivity with my phone so I’ve had to open the app and sync it and it starts working again. It’s only happened a few times so not a big deal.Too many features, this can be a pro and con but I find it packed with that many features it can sometimes feel overwhelming and most of the apps and features you’ll hardly use or they don’t work very well. Such as the work out app, it’s great if you’re going for a run but if you’re having a gym workout, the app doesn’t accurately measure reps and most the time you want to have a workout and just get on with it rather then fiddling with your watch the whole time.Overall I’d recommend it, great value for money even though I missed out on the Black Friday deal and paid £253, at £210 on black Friday it’s a no brainer, you’d easily pay a lot more for a garmin equivalent.

It’s slightly bigger than the old Trex 2 but performs in a similar way. The charger has become a c type and you get a small adapter thats magnetic which sticks to the rear of the watch. Charging is pretty rapid and the battery does last for weeks. I bought mine to monitor my health heart rate etc and in that regard it’s pretty useful. The Zepp app links to your watch and will give you a comprehensive feedback on your activities. There is a subscription service should you wish to get ongoing assessments of your health and workout activities. On the wrist it’s comfortable and being waterproof and quite tough will still function in and out of water. I found the slightly larger screen useful for reading downloaded maps. It’s fairly simple to set up and practically useful on a daily basis. My old watches have become redundant. Would I recommend it yes I would. It’s far cheaper than many similar smart watches and every bit as useful. There are literally hundreds of watch faces to choose from free and paid for, the latter being quite cheap too. A very good smart watch.

Amazing, the software is very impressive and enhances the functionality. Hardware is extremely good, the design is great and doesn’t look like a cheap plastic watch. Only drawback is the thickness as it’s easy to bump it, so a screen protector is vital. Battery life is one the highlight features, 3 weeks easily with intense use. Value for money is outstanding.

Un híbrido entre smartwatch y reloj deportivo casi perfecto.
El reloj a mi parecer es bonito (esto es subjetivo), con una pantalla grande, se lee bien y parece resistente, además de una batería muy generosa.En un principio el dispositivo no me sorprendió, pero tras probarlo durante un poco más de tiempo, me ha hecho cambiar de opinión.La precisión de los sensores, sin haberlo comparado con un dispositivo profesional y en base a mi experiencia con él, creo que da más en el clavo que cualquier otro smartwatch tradicional, quedando quizá un poco por detrás respecto a los relojes más enfocados al deporte puramente. Como he dicho, no he podido comprobarlo “profesionalmente”, pero tras mi uso y mi investigación en foros, reviews… Estoy convencido de que es así.Respecto al GPS, es fantástico, como siempre dependiendo de las condiciones en las que se utilice, pero al margen de alguna cosa puntual (como todos los GPS), tiene un desempeño que yo consideraría prácticamente de gama alta.Respecto a la batería, estimo que duraría unos 20 días o más con un uso muy básico, incluso puedo llegar a comprar los 27 que promete el fabricante si se hacen algunas concesiones. Si lo tuyo es darle bastante al deporte al aire libre y tirar mucho de GPS seguramente te quedes más cerca de los 10-15, que no deja de ser impresionante.Para gimnasio es también excelente, se pueden crear rutinas oara seguirlas con él puesto, o también se puede poner en modo automático, oara que él solo vaya detectando los ejercicios y las repeticiones, descansos… Y debo decir que es muy bueno haciéndolo, son pocas las repeticiones que se le escapan y la detección del ejercicio, aunque es buena, no siempre acierta con el nombre, aunque se puede editar.En relación a la pantalla, es una de los puntos fuertes del reloj. Cuando lo usé por primera vez me dejó un poco indiferente, pero tras darle algo más de caña bajo el sol puedo decir que esos 2000 nits se notan para bien, y no he tenido ningún problema de lectura con él.La aplicación funciona francamente bien, da un buen montón de datos que para el usuario medio, como es mi caso, son más que de sobra. Las funciones de smartwatch las cumple con creces, las respuestas a los mensajes con el asistente de voz son exquisitas, mucho mejores de las que he visto nunca, y para ponerlo mejor todavía, han incluido teclado por fin.Como conclusión, es un reloj extremadamente completo, que cumple en todas sus facetas, y como decía, es un híbrido estupendo entre smartwatch-reloj deportivo. Solo tiene un pero, la falta de un altavoz para llamadas, en ese caso no tendría competencia.Una grata sorpresa, pese al disgusto inicial, se ha convertido en el mejor reloj que he tenido
