Purchased this for my elderly father in law so he can monitor his steps and encourage him to walk more. It’s perfect for him. It’s lightweight, easy to use and has a clear extra large display (even in sunlight), with none of the fancy features that he wouldn’t use or make the product over complicated.It comes with a battery so is ready to go out of the box.The pedometer appears to be very accurate and with no additional gimmicks at a good price, it fits the bill perfectly.It’s also not as big as it looks in the photos, quiet neat but still clear to read.

I would not bother buying this item again, it is inaccurate by a large amount, i unfortunately bought this one thinking I had lost my usual one which was double the price of this one, but you get what you pay for my dearer one is much more accurate I would not waste your money on this item

I’ve just started using this Neskla pedometer and have been very impressed. It is so easy to use, comes with a sturdy belt clip and a lanyard. The pedometer feels well made, not at all cheap and nasty considering the great price. I accidentally dropped it on the kitchen floor when I was trying to fit the belt clip and there was no damage at all. I’m happy to say that it seems to count the steps accurately and shuts off when I am not moving but saves my step count and starts counting again when I move. This item is just what I was looking for, I’m very pleased with it.

from my usage I would say its a movement counter as it seems to register each forward and backward movement of my legs , ie the actual number counted does not accurately reflect the number of actual steps .I keep mine in the pocket of my longish shorts and find the number seems to be about double the number of actual steps so still useful and cheap enough .

I might well work for someone who runs or bounces a lot when they walk, but it didn’t register a single step I took. I walk with a very smooth gait, and it didn’t matter if I had the pedometer on the lanyard or in my pocket, so it was useless for me.
