Update: battery life has doubled after 3 weeks without me changing any of the settings. Initially I was seeing 10-12% drain per day now I am only seeing 5-6% per day! Which means I should be getting 16 to 20 days between charges! Apparently the watch calibrates itself and learns to optimise its battery usage once it has been exposed to a couple of weeks usage!This watch is incredible value for money, the watch is sleek, well made, the screen is as large and as bright as they get and the UI is one of the best there is. Battery life is good too, I get 7 days easily with pretty much everything switched on including always on display.I use an iPhone and I was surprised at how well these two pair up and work. I can even take calls on my watch, something I did not expect at all. Notifications are shown in a clear way, it does not display WhatsApp emojis and you cannot reply from the watch, but that’s not a deal breaker for me personally.The iOS companion app is fairly ok, it just seems to glitch every now and again but that could be due to iOS itself and its built in limitations when it comes to the API.This watch is perfect for the and more than enough for the casual user. it shows notifications, it can track the essential parameters such as sleep time, HR, SPO2, steps etc. fairly accurately.There are more powerful watches out there with more whistles and bells but they cost 3 to 5 times as much and you would not get 3 to 5 times more value.If you are seriously into fitness, outdoor pursuits, bio-tracking etc. then this watch will disappoint you, otherwise, this is as good as it gets.

Mine never arrived, or someone took it before I could get it 🙁 Bought one second hand for cheaper and its pretty good. Can’t install apps or send messages, but calls work well.

Good watch and long lasting battery. I like that and I can recommend that for anyone.

Bright display visible outside in sunshine. (This is the model with the OLED screen) Excellent battery life – 20% battery warning after 3 weeks. Have charged today, but I think it could have lasted another week if I had been away.Comfortable strap with unusual but effective fastening.Email notifications are handy as you can decide whether it’s worth getting the phone out to read the message. WhatsApp messages can be read directly on the watch. You can take phone calls on it and speak into the watch like on Star Trek – best not done in company though!To my suprise, the torch feature is bright enough to be effective finding your way around dark hotel rooms.I’m happy with it.

Very good battery life and functions for fitness and health.My only gripe is getting Xiaomi support to respond to one problem that I’m having! After 2 weeks I’ve still not had a response or acknowledgement to the following query. Why does my watch loose 3 of the 4 weather locations that you can have on the watch every day? Each day I have to input, via the app, my 3 favourite weather locations other than the present location set by the GPS. Other than this, the watch is good value, but the support is non existent!!!

Been using it for a couple of months. Sleep tracking is really accurate. HR okay but can be a bit hit and miss. Overall a good watch and excellent build quality. Would recommend

Love it, nice screen, I have 3 or 4 diff settings on all the time, I am on day 12 with 25% battery life from 1st full charge, so it’s good for over 2 weeks, The strap is not long enough and I had to buy another from an independent brand, it’s a shame as it would cost pennies to make it longer by 2/3cm, it would then fit more people. But for the price it’s fabtastic..
