Excellent boiler deal
Very good value high-end boiler and installation, beating British Gas’ own price by almost £2k. Was concerned that there would be extra add on charges, but there weren’t.
Mine was a straightforward switch for a combi to a combi in the same place, and I suspect that if there had been additional pipework or brickwork for flue etc that it would not have been possible to get prices or questions answered in advance of committing to a purchase. Worked really well for me and offer came at the right time.

BOILER SEEMS GOOD BUT REST WASNT FUN AT ALL, THE PRICE AGREED WASN’T WHAT IT COULD BE INSTALLED FOR SO IT ENDED UP COSTING ME AN EXTRA £1000 ON TOP. THE TRIMEFRAME OF 2 WEEKS WAS ALSO OPTIMISTIC AS TOOK ALMOST 30 DAYS

Good value for money
After comparing options on the market and getting a few quotes, I found that thinkassemble.co.uk’s boiler deal was the best, so I went ahead with it. The installation went smoothly, and I paid a few extra hundred pounds for additional parts and a power flush of my heating system. I’m very pleased with the overall outcome and am now enjoying my new boiler. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to replace their combi heating system.

Don’t waste your time with British Gas
The boiler is very good. The installation is actually very good, the engineer we had was great.
However British Gas themselves were useless. They don’t actually sell enough through thinkassemble.co.uk to understand how the whole thing works.
Whatever you do – DO NOT ORDER REPLACEMENT RADIATORS. BG have no conception of how this works with the purchase of the boiler via thinkassemble.co.uk.
You will get horrendous lead times. You will suffer an ordering anf fulfilment process that a five year old could improve upon. BG will take the order. Then pass that order to a third party who will throw whatever they want into a box and pay little heed to the items on order. If you’re lucky you may get a few of the radiators you wanted/needed. BG do a survey based on a video call, not an actual site visit so you need to measure everything beforehand for this to work, but they won’t tell you. Then BG will charge you nearly £800 for scaffolding that isn’t really needed. In all the process took over 6 weeks and still isn’t right
