installed my subwoofer and amp box with this wiring kit, had it on about a month and no problems at all whatsoever, installation itself was really easy and clear with the instructions on the back, the cables a good quality, it comes with a high frequency cable, which i didn’t use so i can vouch for that. Amazing value for the money though.

Good quality

Worked well to wire an underseat subwoofer. The earth cable was pretty short at around 750mm long (i didnt measure but was less than 1 metre). I only connected via RCA cable and didnt use the flat speaker cable provided. But all in all allowed me to add a bit of bass to my music so happy indeed.

The kit contains most of what you’ll need for installing an amp and 2 speakers (or a sub) in an average car. You get 5m of postive cable, remote cable and RCA (L+R) cable. The ground cable is only 1m. There’s 5m of flat speaker wire and also a fuse too. Vibe leave you to cut the cable and wire up the fuse so that you can add it to the best place along the length of cable (out of the way but as close to the battery as possible). I think a grommet would’ve been a nice addition to this kit for if you’re drilling a new hole into the engine bay for the cable. Apart from that, this will probably cover most installs.I was quite pleased with the power cables. The length of 5m is probably enough for an average hatchback but it would be nice to see more. If you have a large car or van and want an amp towards the rear, you’ll need longer than this if you’re routing the cable around the engine bay and under dashboard, through the floor with the existing wiring. The insulation is quite thick and offers decent protection and it’s also quite flexible for the size so it should be easy to follow any existing wiring. I do feel 1m of ground cable is a little short if you want to use an existing grounding point. One end of both cables also have a circular connector installed with some insulation so they’re neat and easily connected up to a battery or ground point. The connectors themselves honestly are a little on the thin side. The RCA cables do look quite cheap. I assume they’re mostly insulation and have little extra shielding if at all. I haven’t had an issue myself but I would’ve used my own if I hadn’t ordered the wrong size! The Think Assemble Basics cable is decently quality and reasonably well shielded. I’d recommend that if you’re running this near the power cables or existing wiring loom. The cable is 8 shaped so can by split down the middle if you only require 1 channel (for a sub). The speaker wire is flat and suited to running under carpets. I ran mine behind the body trim but I did find that the insulation is not particularly ruggard. If they’re pulled against anything, they’re likely to get damaged. I actually ended up damaging one which got pinched between to pieces of trim and had to use the 2nd cable (I only needed 1 for a sub). The fuse holder looks cool and seems decent enough. No complaints there. And finally the remote wire is fairly standard. Decent enough insulation and of a standard size.I used this kit with a Vibe POWERBOX400.1 so should have plenty of headroom. I installed the amp onto the inside of the passenger seat on my Honda Stepwagon RK5 and this kit covered that. The ground cable was barely long enough to reach an existing ground point just under the dash. 5m wouldn’t have been enough the get to the back but it is a MPV so a bit longer than most cars.Although the kit leaves a little more to be desired in some places (another meter of cable, slightly more ruggard speaker cable, better RCA cables, better power connectors and a grommet), it’s decent value. I’d happily spend £15 more if those were better.

The rc leads are rubbish. The ends fell out when I had to move the amp.Shame as the rest is great. So for that I had to buy another set of leads.Value for money would have been great if it not for the issues I maybe created my self lolSound quality was good tho.

Awesome wiring kit
I needed this wiring kit for my jbl A6004. A bit overkill, but I’d rather go overkill than burn something. The power cables came pre crimped with rings wich u can directly install on the battery(don’t forget the fuse) and on the chassis ground. Only crimping you need to do is for connecting to the amplifier wich the connectors are supplied. The remote and rca cable are fine but I ended up buying a different rca cable because 5 meter was too long. 1 month has gone by and its still holding up great.Edit: 7 months later its still holding up just fine
