Brodit products are great – I originally ordered the incorrect Proclip bracket for my right hand drive 5 Series BMW – I got the LHD version as from thinkassemble.co.uk. Guessed that there was an issue before trying to fit…but quick email to Brodit confirmed that I needed a different on so I sent back the one from thinkassemble.co.uk and (to be sure) then bought the correct one for RHD (653281 as opposed to 853281). When you order directly from Brodit. their web page is very clear an simple but carries much more explanation than on thinkassemble.co.uk. The bracket I got fitted perfectly and then this TT fixed installation dock kit fits on top ((I – I can now see my TT 6200 which I struggled to see when away out on the windscreen (never mind the fact that it hampered my field of view when on the windscreen).

Cable-tied this to my air vent. Works so well I bought another for the other car in the family.Seems a bit pricey for a bit of plastic, a micro-USB connector and a magnet but I guess it is holding an expensive bit of kit. It holds the satnav in the position I set it to and doesn’t move. Being able to leave the power cable plugged in to this rather than having to plug it into the satnav every time is a real bonus.

very sturdy which help to hold my new tomtom go 5200 in place without shaking when driving, downside is I cannot just screw this onto the dashboard of my Yaris, I had to buy a “Brodit ProClip” (£20)(which is too expensive for a piece of plastic) to use it with this docking. After putting all in place, this mounting is very good, as the magnet is strong, you don’t need to worry your sat nav will fall off when driving, nor it will shaking. Using this with the ProClip also bring the sat nav closer to my control rather than using the original sucking mounting onto the windscreen which will be too far to reach.Hope this can help others drivers who has a Yaris and a tomtom go 5200. This installation bracket is an ideal choice for use with a Brodit proclip which allows dashboard fitting instead of the windscreen suction cup method. A little expensive for what it is but does the job without fuss.

Used this to mount a TomTom Premium 5 inch sat nav in a Honda Civic. I was not happy with the possible positions using the windscreen mount provided with the sat nav.I bought a vehicle specific mount for the Civic from Brodit which provides a stable surface in a sensible position for the TomTom fixed installation kit to screw on to. The screw holes line up, so it was a 5 minute job. The mount is relatively small and does not look out of place when the sat nav is not in place. Sat nav is easy to clip in or out of the mounting.The combination of a Brodit clip and the TomTom fixed mount works for me. You can buy an equivalent fixed mount to this from Brodit (could be exactly the same product – I’m not sure) but its more expensive.

Brodit ProClip is a 2-part system:There is a clip which fixes itself to your car and there is one specific to (nearly?) every different model of car. They suggest where it should be secured and how to fix it there. Normally it is simple a question of clipping it there in a very secure manner.Then there is an attachment that allows you to attach your SatNav (or phone etc.) and this part is screwed firmly to your clip.In my case, I have used several different versions of TomTom in several different cars. The clips are expensive (often cheaper on thinkassemble.co.uk than buying them direct) but you are paying for the research and expert advice showing you the best possible ways you can display your SatNav without obscuring your vision of the road or the dashboard etc.I have never been disappointed. 100% satisfaction.

Dit artikel staat aanbevolen als vaak samen gekocht met TomTom Camper Max maar is hier niet geschikt voor! Ik heb mijn voorkant op de montageplaat gemonteerd om het te laten werken.

Top Teil, leichte Montage, Preis viel zu hoch wenn man den Broditclip und den Einbausatz rechnet ist man bei einem stolzen Preis. Sonst ist alles bestens. Der Einbau ist einfach, alles ist schön unter gebracht.
