Deep fryer
Is it worth the money? I am not sure, it does not stop draining it automatically drains after use this is not what was said in the listing? It does not filter any smells from frying. which should at least have some filter. The oil container it drains into is hard to lift and pour without it going everywhere. Would I buy it again….No if it was the same as this without improvements is the answer.

Too expensive for a not well made product
Works well, keeps the smells at bay when cooking and not in use.
However…the storage container is not well designed or made…the lid to the container is not secure, and you have to be extremely careful when refilling the cooking bath, as the lid just pops off with no warning or easy means to hold it shut when pouring, personally I think it is a dangerous design if you have hand/ arm problems with grip and holding weight whilst trying to manoeuvre a near 3kg of oil that is intent on exiting the container any way it can and not necessarily via the pouring spout.
This overall manoeuvre is made all the harder to accomplish when the oil from the sliding filler leaks all over your hands no matter where you are holding it!
This is really poor design and implementation by Tefal, and for a item that on most other websites is near £180, it is really bad.
Other than that issue, all else is good, it heats the oil quickly, the basket is a good size for a medium sized family meal, and the filter really makes a difference to the cooking smell.

Very practical!
Love, love, love my new chip pan! The best bit is that it’s so easy to clean so no dirty oil hanging around. Just leave the oil to cool down then turn the lever to filter the oil. I didn’t realise the little screw on the left is to pour the filtered oil out into a container and so spilt a bit when I took off the lid. Serves me right for not reading the instructions properly.

This is the best fryer I have ever used! and I am 70!,it comes apart easily which makes it super easy to clean. the draining feature is a massive plus. very efficient and heats quickly. Fabulous purchase highly recommended.

Still perfecting my chips and a lower scale on the temperature dial would help with double cooking chips. Very easy to clean. Nearly all of it can go in the dishwasher.

Very pleased with this fryer especially not having to muck around emptying the oil it stores in removable tank underneath the fryer.
It is filtered as it leaves the man tank such a clever design. What we have cooked so far is first class cooks quickly and evenly. All good.

I should have had one of these sooner, it’s really a high quality product. Easy to filter and clean, family size and well designed. Only downside is that you need at least 5 litres of oil on each use.

Other deep fat fryers with the exception of being able to filter the oil after each use making it so much easier to clean. Cannot recommend this enough.

Useful Well Behaved Small DeepFryer
Never owned or used any type of deep fryer before so was a little nervous about which to choose. This one is great for two servings. Easy to fill, use, clean and store – but do read and follow the instructions about emptying the oil!! Used for chips, battered cod and crisps – all with perfect results. Small footprint and easy to move about. It is used in a new outdoor kitchen and stored in a stainless steel cabinet with no problems thus far.
