Needs a proper instruction manual.
The ladder seems good, though in fairness I have not used it properly yet. Delivery was good as expected. My only concern is that the ladders do not come with a comprehensive manual on how to set up and use.
I sent an email to customer services at TB Davies who supplied the ladders about a manual and I have not received any reply. I will give them a ring.

Versatile ladder
Can be used as a step ladder or straight. Useful additional height; not enough to replace a conventional extension ladder for second storey work though. Light, easy to carry. The wide base bar needs to be bolted on prior to first use; 5 minute job. I would recommend for domestic use.

Reasonable ladders at a good price
Reasonable ladders at a good price. I didn’t find instructions to add the support bar to the foot of one section so that wasn’t good but I managed it. Care should be taken not to over tighten the nuts on those connections because I am sure it would be easy to crush the aluminium. I would have liked the treads to have been parallel to the ground and wider than they are. Given the price though I am happy they are fit for purpose and reasonable quality with dimensions as described on the website.

Good value for multi purpose use.
I needed some multi purpose ladders that weren’t too heavy for me to move about. Only used them once so far for a high vaulted ceiling but felt safe and stable, took a few minutes to figure out how to use them n felt the treads were abit narrow but other than than I think a really good buy.

Reason I brought the ladder was to replace my old one, marked as 4 due to stabilising leg is wider than my stairs so had to cut down bar to fit, if it had feet you could put on inplace of the stab bar then that would have been good. Other than that very good product.
