This camera is really easy to set up and install. Having switched from a Blink system the quality of the Tapo camera is so much better. Picture quality is great and it doesn’t seem to suffer from false activations as much as the Blink one did. Been up a few weeks now and the panel appears to be keeping the battery topped up, and that’s in winter. Night vision is good quality as well and WiFi connectivity seems to be solid despite it being 10m away from my house. Would definitely recommend.

I love this camera, it’s easy to install and gives a very good picture. Solar panel, if well placed, keeps the camera battery topped up well. It’s been at 100% all summer.App support has some quirks like reminding me that my car’s on the drive whenever camera is viewed, or turned off and back on.Overall an excellent choice for the price, especially if you use the local storage on a hub. Just ordered a second one to cover the rear of the property.

I don t want to show pics with my area but this is very crisp and clear image, it uses Tapo home app on iPhone also can be used on Macs, the subscription is yearly up to 5 devices 25 gbp/year for basic service and for premium 53 gbp/year up to 2 devices and there is not really a difference between these services they offer the same thing which is snapshots and some ai smart detection they say BUT I ve purchased 1 micro sd card of 256gb for each camera with speed of over 150mb/s and it can record for like 2 weeks in a loop. It has very good detection without the need to pay and ai detection and very fast notifications good flood light but I don’t use this also the battery it is charging really fast from 13 to 67 in 2 days if there is a bit of sun but don t cover or put it in the shadow the battery is holding up good I have 95 for 1 week. I ve tried to find a good camera for my area without breaking the bank and I think this is a good choice also it has pet, car, person, motion detection and you can choose in the app where to have the area of these for each or set once for all and it does pick up really fast cars and motion and people I don t know about pets but I think is the same fast. Where do I start with this one? Camera was nice and easy to install. I used a 5 metre extension cable, the supplied power adapter was around 3m long. Do note that for longer cable runs you may need to use a 12 v 2a adapter if your camera resets itself. The initial setup was a doddle and the quality of the camera was superb, the colour night vision was breathtaking. Also loved the app and the numerous detection types. The app has slow motion and also speed up modes which is a nice touch. The detection is one of them best, pre detection not as good as Reolink but the notification is quicker than any of the competition. An improvement would be to have a play bar on recordings so you know how long the video is and where you are in the clip. Currently the only way to do it is to zoom in and out of the timeline which is horrible on a small phone screen. Was 100% satisfied with this camera and was actually writing a 5 star review when it suddenly lost connection after 1 day of use.I went through all the trouble shooting steps advised by TP Link, i contacted their support who gave the usual reset and check 2g internet steps which was quite disappointing. The final straw was when it didn’t even connect to my router via a cable. I could see the camera on my router settings but the camera just would not connect. Going on the forums i saw that connection issues were a huge problem with Tapo products which is ironic considering that TP Link are well known for their WiFi products. I could not live with something that was unreliable so i reluctantly returned to Think Assemble and replaced with a Reolink CX410. Really really wanted this camera to work well, it is so good when it works, the app is also brilliant. Massive shame.

Estou usando há pouco mais de 3 dias, porém, me impressionou a qualidade da imagem e como a configuração do app é simples e rápida! A configuração com a alexa foi tão rápida e intuitiva tbm… ela apresenta um pequeno delay de uns 4s qdo é exibido no meu fire tv stick, mas achei mto bom vendo as concorrentes q tem um delay maior…pelo aplicativo tem zero delay… A captação do áudio dela é impressionante, e a saída do som tbm é mto boa! o sensor de movimento mto bom msm à noite sem luminosidade, visão noturna mto boa tbm… Achei excelente o alarme tbm, é bem alto e vc pode configurar pra qlqr horário q vc queira se vc qser usar, e ainda pode botar com luz que fica piscando, pra assustar gente má intencionada e te alertar, o que é otimo!Recomendo muito, até então, uma excelente câmera de segurança com mtos benefícios e ainda peguei numa oferta relâmpago por 340, peguem sem medo.
