Nice system but Swanns after sales not good.
I installed the system myself which was pretty straight forward.
Picture quality is very good. Compared to my older Swann system the cameras are very light and don’t feel very robust or great quality.
The nvr recorder box is really flimsy with no function lights or control buttons apart from 3 tiny indicator lights and it doesn’t have a remote control like my last Swann cctv system. It moves on the shelf at the slightest touch which is irritating ie if you pull the mouse out to use it.
It feels really cheap in build quality but it works.
Getting the app to work was a nightmare and worse still was swanns after sales care. No one to speak to and all done though emails with the message to allow upto 3 days for response.
In summary a good system but all materials feel really cheap.
Swans after care customer communication is absolutely dire. The days of them having a technical support advisor on the end of the phone a distant memory.
If you don’t need them it’s a decent buy.
It will do the job I want it to but with hindsight I should have probably gone for a Hikvision system.

Sharp images
Nice sharp pictures and the lights provide decent colour images at night.
The alerts can be a little annoying as it repeatedly reports ‘car ‘ which is unsurprising as the main cameras overlook my driveway! No car was moving at these times.
App reasonably easy to set up.
