As a person that wears glasses this headset has been one of the most comfortable. Previous headsets would press against my glasses and give me quite a headache after prolonged use. Quality is amazing as is the battery life! Microphone quality compared to the PlayStation headsets is unbeaten

This was a present for a teenager. Using 2.4kHz and Bluetooth they connect easily to PlayStation and phone for calls or gaming. They seem to be pretty robust as used everyday, get dropped and left around the room. 11 months and the microphone is still working and not been broken off much to my surprise. Not cheap but seems a good buy.

These arrive well packaged and immediately feel premium quality – certainly a step up from my previous Sony Pulse headset – these are also far more adjustable for fit (the Pulse had none). Set-up up with a PS5 can simply be plug-in the wireless dongle and play, but to get the best from them use the mobile app for customised profiles – these made a big difference in CoD. Audio quality is great (better than the Pulse) and the mic works well to. Battery life is excellent.My negatives are mostly minor, and not entirely Arctis’s fault. I’m not a fan of the slide out mic, are these really needed these days? The Pulse worked fine without one. Volume control seems to go from too quiet to too loud in an instant and it’s all in the last 10% of the volume control movement. Finally, and this is mostly down to Sony gatekeeping it seems, I have to keep insert the USB dongle whenever I want to use the headset (also the headset can only connect wirelessly to the PS5, not via Bluetooth) – I didn’t have to do this with the Pulse headset – leaving the dongle in and just switching the headset on/off was all you needed to do to switch between headset/tv speakers.Overall a very good headset with some minor irritations.

There’s a preset for just about everything, and they make a noticeable difference depending on what you’re using the headset for.The dual wireless modes (Bluetooth and 2.4GHz) are solid, though it’s worth noting you can’t mix them — so you can’t, for example, listen to your phone’s audio while playing on console or PC. It’s not a dealbreaker, but something to be aware of if you were hoping for multitasking.Battery life is excellent. The comfort is also top-tier — light on the head, good ear padding, and no fatigue after long sessions.Only minor downside is the white version shows marks and wear a little more than darker colours — but it still looks great in a clean gaming setup.Overall, a great headset that balances performance, comfort, and battery life really well. Highly recommend.
