Great for what they are. They don’t block ambient sound, which I actually appreciate as it lets me be somewhat aware of my surroundings. I’m no music geek, so as far as I’m concerned the audio is pretty high quality.The fact that they don’t sit fully in the ear canal was initially strange, but it has its advantages when it comes to workouts and avoiding some of the sweat collection in the ear. I would definitely recommend following the instructions regarding wiping down after use, etc.Decent battery life; customisable touch controls (which do the job as needed).What gives this a full five stars for me, on top of the above, is that I received excellent customer support and a satisfactory arrangement regarding a component that stopped working after a few months of use. I don’t normally do reviews but give credit when its due, so here goes….The Anker Soundcore V20i earbuds offer an affordable open-ear design that stands out for its comfort and secure fit—ideal for workouts and active use. They deliver impressive call clarity, supported by four built-in microphones. While the audio performance is solid for the price, with punchy bass and customizable EQ settings, it doesn’t quite match the detail of higher-end models. The open-ear format, which lacks active noise cancellation and may allow sound to leak at higher volumes but not a great deal i feel.overall, I highly recommend that if you are looking for a budget priced headphones will not fall out of your ear whilst talking , running, etc, Deliver good sound, not to mention an earphone that will not cause comfort distress of worn for a long period of time, then these are what you need in your life…….then these are the earphones for you… I honestly believe if you’re not critical, you will be highly surprised…. well done, Anker 🎧🔊☺️🫶🤗

Comfortable and excellent value for the price
Excellent ear phones for an incredible bargain (got at 50% off). Have only used in-ear headphones before, and they were never comfortable and never stayed in my ears no matter what I tried (all the different size tips, over the ear versions, etc.). These stay in place, are so comfortable I don’t even remember I have them on, and the sound quality is excellent. They are very customizable for sound and control functionality. Can be a little annoying because the controls are touch-sensitive, so it is hard to put them on without accidentally touching the controls. If you want a want a simple plug-and-play, these aren’t it. But the minor annoyance is worth the comfort and sound quality. The company offers many features through the app. I will likely never use any of them (I just want simple ear buds), but nice to have the option if I ever change my mind.

Bought it for podcasts, using it for music
I bought these “open ear” earphones explicitly for listening to podcasts on the go. Music? It never even occurred to me to use them for anything else but podcasts and audiobooks.To put things in perspective, I am an unabashed audiophile. For listening to music at home I have spent thousands on my audio system in the living room, on my high end planar headphone set up and on my in-ear monitors for on the go music listening, Nice.Now functionally I thought these earphones were great well-made very good fit. I hardly even know that I’m wearing them. Battery life is incredible.Then one day I decided just for fun. I would try them with online music from my lossless FLAC music library, expecting really nothing much.So, using the Soundcore application I changed the sound profile from “podcast” to “Souncore Signature” (default).OK, I was shocked. Pleasantly shocked. I could not believe how good these earphones sounded. I mean not great sounding for “on ears”. Just great sounding. Period. I was expecting them to sound shrill. No they’re not shrill. I was expecting them to lack bass. No, they have very acceptable bass. I was expecting them to lack mid range. They have very acceptable mid range.I consider myself to be a critical listener, mostly classical and jazz. Right now I’m listening to a piano concerto, by Saint Saens, a recording that demands clear articulate playback – on my iPhone – on Bluetooth – on open ear earphones (audiophile sacrilege). And I’m absolutely loving it.This goes far beyond my expectations.And I find the soundcore iPhone application to add considerable value with built in as well as customizable equalization – although I find that the default equalization profile works for me perfectly. It even has a loud sounding locator for a misplaced unit.I’m certainly not suggesting that these in any way approach “audiophile” quality, but I can put them on my ears, forget they’re on my ears, and just enjoy the experience.I would certainly buy it again if it had to be replaced

Absolutely worth the money
With proper EQ settings, these earbuds sound amazing, I would even go as far as to say that they sound like actual headphones. Also due to the bulky design, they have a huge amount of battery yet are still very comfortable to wear. These are an absolute gem for the price.
